Well shite.

On to the next one.

Now this means we have to steal at least one on the road. Not great.

We’re in bad shape for the tournament.

It’s NIT for us, if we can pull some upsets! I guess a #3 recruiting class means nothing if we can’t follow it up with some coaching!

Half the #3 class isn’t here.

Means the team is young as hell. Freshman are still Freshman.

Which is why I laugh hysterically when people talk about Jontay and Tilmon getting drafted this year, not a fricking chance.

I think we are going to the NIT, but if we can steal a road game we are right back on schedule.

20 plus turnovers, and most were unforced. No discipline on this team!

Everyone has figured out how to beat us. Defend Robertson and Barnett, and press the hell out of us. Nobody else can score, and point guard is a problem.

Please don’t tell me how young we are either. Auburn has a freshman PG and he had 7 assists and zero turnovers!

We just aren’t very good, and getting worse since the start of the year. No improvement.

If you think those were unforced, you are crazy. The majority of the TOs were on entry passes into the post, which were so difficult do to how aggressive AU was fronting the post.

He is a SO who has started 52 games for Auburn

WRONG! Very few were to the post. Most were just thrown away!

Tilmon’s line tonight....7 minutes...3 turnovers...4 fouls....1 rebound. Was he a 4 or 5*? Looks like a 2* Jontay wasn’t much better. He did grab 9 rebounds, but that was about it.

Bigger issue is PG play and apparently the only thing Barnett can do is shoot. Has he always been such a lazy passer and defender?

Yes...he’s always been a horrible passer and defender.

Tilmon has become timid. A lot of that due to not wanting to pick up whistles, I suspect.

An aggressive - and foul-limited - Tilmon changes the dynamic of this offense infinitely. He's currently our only consistently bankable contributor down low, but he plays a handful of minutes a game.

Right now, teams don't have to respect us inside and defend accordingly.

I grew up on Arizona + Georgetown basketball, programs that carry a bit more weight than AU or Mizzou

There were probably 4-5 TOs related to post entry passes that were a direct result of AU's aggressive fronting of the post. There is a reason that AU's Horace Spencer is #2 in the conference in STL%

Yes. 4-5 is what percent of 20? I apologize for assuming the issue was knowledge of basketball.

Yeah, but 10-15 were uncontested turnovers due to nothing Auburn did! So go back to your AU Tiger board and quit trolling here. That game is over, and you won!

I meant in terms of "unforced TOs" quite a few/felt like majority were on attempts to get the ball into the post + miscommunication due to pressure

Sorry for exaggerating a bit. My point was to suggest that while a good bit were lazy TOs, they wouldn't have been TOs in most games but AU's pressure allowed it to happen
