Anyone going to the Vandy game? My bro and I will be there

We'll 100 percent be in Nashville for the Vandy game. We've already booked our lodging (which the house we are staying at is a crazy awesome story for another day).
Everytrueson...are you going? If so, what is that drink you make at your tailgate?

No one is going to the game in Nashville?

You said it yourself, the season is over already. Time to get ready for 2017.

When did I say that? And what the frick is the 2017 remark? You're an odd one.

Provided Mauk doesn't enter the 2016 NFL draft, Pinkle will ride with Mauk next year too

Out on that one, saving all my money to drink heavily at the UGA game. Gonna need every dollar.

No way in hell he starts Mauk next year. People would turn on him with a quickness.
Why the frick would he waste the best talent he's ever had at QB in favor of an average to below average Mauk?
That would make zero fricking sense, especially since he burned Lock's redshirt this year. Would make no sense.

Yeah, I get that. But even Pinkel knows that Drew Lock is the best talent to ever fall into his lap...even more than DGB.
If he wastes Lock in favor of Mauk, he should just retire.
frick that.

Well, he's doing it right now even with Mauk hurt.
It's just not in GP's nature to change QBs. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he sticks with Mauk next year.

If fans continue to boo Mauk during games Mauk may leave on his own accord, though not likely Missouri State could be a possible destination in 2016?

Honestly this would make me happy. Hate MSU but it would be cool to see him still play in the state he started in.

Nope. Don't offer masters programs that would be eligible for transfer.

Just thought he could be close to his dad since he was sick.

Don't get me wrong...I don't dislike Maty Mauk. In fact, I like his fire and competitive nature. I just don't think he's as good as his record. The defense has bailed him out the past couple of years. He's being exposed as an average QB now that he doesn't have a slew of 6'5"+ tall WRs catching his errant and high passes.
I would love to see him at Missouri State. Missouri State is trying their best to build a somewhat respectable program. Stec was a huge hire for that school. It's easy to laugh at Missouri State's football program because it's been laughably bad forever, but their administration is trying to create something in Springfield.
Stec and Mauk would be a good team. Mauk would be close to his father who coaches at Glendale High School in Springfield and he would have instant rapport with Coach Stec.
Perfect fit in my opinion.
Regardless what happens to Mauk...it's clear that Lock is simply head and shoulders better than Mauk. Therefore, play him so that we can build a team around Lock before he leaves for the NFL in a couple of years.
It would he a gigantic mistake if Pinkel screwed up Lock's time at Mizzou.

Yep we are going and so are our season ticket holder neighbors and some friends from STL. Flights and hotel booked. We usually make rumchata shots. I am attaching the link for ingredients but you don't need to freeze. We typically throw it all together at the tailgate.

We had a literal line of Tennessee fans at our tailgate last year in Knoxville to get those shots. We were bartering their moonshine for our shots. It was a happy arrangement for all.

I'm going with at least 6 hooligans confirmed. Flight booked, still working on hotel. Everything is booked around downtown. Any suggestions? Is Brentwood too far a commute? Thx in advance.

Well, I'll try my best to meet you for a shot or two and actually hang out for a bit rather than yell your name just before the game and say, "What's up, Kilgore?! How are you, buddy? Is this your wife? Nice you meet you. We're seated a few rows over there. Perhaps we can meet after the game. MIZ!"

That was funny though. I was like who the frick is saying my name?! Yeah we definitely will have to get together. I am not yet sure what our tailgate will look like. I was given some advice that it is better to carry around a temporary cooler and just float tailgates. I am going to have a rental car because we are flying in, but obviously won't have my usual assortment of tailgating goodies.
We are staying out at the airport Hilton because my sister works for Hilton and got us rooms at like 20 bucks a night. Partying is in our plans though so we will be going out on the town Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. Flight leaves Monday. So we have plenty of time to hang out if you guys are going to be sticking around at all.
Oh and I heard that you need to enter the stadium early at Vandy. Something about how you can only enter through specific sections and that it takes forever for people to walk the stairs. Basically that you need to get in line like 30-45 min before the game starts to make it in for kickoff.

I think if Mauk shits the bed again this weekend - and Lock moves the team - the change is made.
