Considering Albert O's performance, not pre-season hype, is the NFL that desperate for TE talent, or if his season mirrors these first 4 games, does the NFL tell him to stay in school?
His performance is reminding me a bit of Chase Coffman, in that Coffman had the size, speed, and route-running to get open, catch passes, and get YAC. But he couldn't or wouldn't block, so he ended up an NFL afterthought.

Or I could be completely wrong.

Blanton definitely will be in the NFL next season.

Good news, Albert is definitely coming back next year.

Nobody is drafting that in the 1st round. Not this year at least.

Why do you think he can't block?

He's awesome. Just needs to quit fumbling

If getting drafted in the first round is the only way he goes pro, he'll never go pro.

I do think he is back though for one more year.

But I've been wrong before. I thought Moore would get put on the practice squad.

Moore is still on the Packers roster, but has been inactive the first 3 games.

Has made me think about who all could get drafted this coming year. Could be a pretty damn big number for a Mizzou team.

Lock
TBJ
Hall
Adams
Albert if he went
Blanton
Fatony???? Don't know about a punter
Pendleton????
Simms???? Haven't heard much about the last 2.

Missing anyone?

Did you happen to see if he's hurt when you looked? I thought he had a decent pre-season.

Catching the ball is apparently a prerequisite to play with Rodgers. Who would have known.

I haven’t seen anything about an injury.

Typically people leave early if they're a first rounder, maybe second.

There was some buzz he could be a first round type of guy and be gone next year.

It doesn't look like that'll be the case.

He has above average hands, nowhere near Coffman level hands.

His size is great but his blocking is terrible.

Doesn't have great speed.

Runs decent routes.

O has 3 bad fumbles in the last 5 games I believe. Ball security is an issue. He didn't take care of it last year but it took until the end of the season before it cost him.

Lol...how quick we turn on guys.

Again, where are we getting that he's a "terrible blocker". Is this backed up by something I haven't seen?

Where is the "turn?" Was he ever considered more than a good receiving TE?

As for where it is coming from you can watch the replays of the first 4 games. He constantly whiffs on his blocks. This is probably why Blanton lines up attached more often than O.

It is something that should be easily corrected but that and his ball security have consistently been issues last year and this year.
