We're all tired of this every year, but how have you adjusted your expectations for this year?

This is a best case scenario - Mizzou becomes bowl eligible at 7 wins (wins against Arkansas and Tennessee) and also wins their appeal, making a shitty bowl against a team like Louisiana Tech. But wins.

8-5, the worst kind of 8-5.

We lose out including appeal which then doesn't matter. Odom gets his number retired and sterk makes an interesting hire

Neither GA or FL scare me at all.....yes both are good but neither should blow us out and if we play like we did against OM we can win both

You realize that OM is one of the worst teams in the league and are going to make almost any SEC team look better, right?

Wtodd is an optimist. You aren’t going to change that with your post.

To the topic, I said 8-4 before the year. I’m adjusting to 7-5.

OM isn't one of the worst teams; they are very young but talented. Their future is fairly bright; other than being in the same division as Bama, LSU, Auburn and A&M.

Both are realistic....7-5 more realistic. Our QB play is just bad.....our WR catch ratio is horrendous. Our discipline is worse than both.

They're in the bottom 3rd of the league in the following areas:

scoring o
scoring d
passing o
total d

That's pretty bad, man.

The Georgia guy is right - Ole Miss is bad. Don't let the 3-6 record fool ya.

I said 10-2 before the year. I am now saying 6-6.

Ole Miss is a solid team and a bottom dwelling SEC team.

I said with this schedule anything short of 10-2 was underachieving. I'm not adjusting

I expected us to underperform expectations because of our coaching staff. That wasn’t an excuse for them.

I thought 9-3 before the season but 6-6 now.

Its starting to feel like they will make no decision on the appeal in time to prevent a bowl game for this year. Then true to the NCAAs habit of screwing us, they make us go to a shitty one this year and the ban takes effect next season, thereby giving us a two year cloud instead of one.

that would be something only a Mizzou administration could pull off - take a situation in which most schools wouldn't get a postseason ban and turn it into effectively a 2 season ban. At least it makes the Odom thing hurt less

For a school like Mizzou, if we got a two year ban, its almost like a death sentence.

Florida doesn't scare me just because we seem to have success against them.

At this point in time, it doesn't matter ifs bama, uga, or semo, we cant play on the road.
