Never met BO but he comes off with the same type of personality as KA to me. As long as he gets players and can coach them up, that's fine with me. Verdict is out on both.

BO is not a guy that is going to act over the top with the media or anything. He wants to project himself as an old school/no nonsense type.
He's a pretty funny guy though. I've talked to him a couple different times and he has personality.
You want be seeing any pimp sticks or gold chains on the sideline anytime soon though.

On Matters chat today he said that a couple of the STL recruits are happy that Cross is gone and that Mizzou's chances with them increased this week.

I noticed that when he sent out tweets to Mizzou fans and talked about how he couldn't wait to get here he hardly ever got much response like the other 2018 recruits get. I use to wonder how he felt about that. I don't follow twitter, but I do follow twitter on PM.

He has a lower rating at 2 stars, so most people don't know how talented he is and don't show the love. That doesn't mean the coaching staff doesn't.
Since his early HS grades were terrible, most schools didn't bother and ratings sites didn't look at much either. Those that did gave him high scores.
Now that he is getting the grades to finish juco in december, he's seeing offers from schools like usc.

If Ballard is looking for love, then he might as well go on to USC! I'm tired of these pussies! He probably wouldn't be any better than Moore anyway! We stick with him, even though. He can't make grades, and has to go the judo route....save a scholly for him...and he's worried about accolades from the fans! Go ride the bench somewhere else before you flunk out anyway!

There are few if any successful college coaches (saban included) that don't kiss thass of prima dona high school players.
I talked to two friends of mine that are nfl coaches who confirmed this. This is the reason they don't want to be ncaa coaches. Sitting in some kids living room telling his mom her catfish is delicious is not for everyone. Recruiting sucks.
If you want good players in college, you have to play this bs game. Just what it is.
