No surprise here but Matter was on the radio today and said that the coaches have talked about how the STL area and Missouri as a whole is down this cycle. Said best player out of the STL area may be a punter.

The kicker you mentioned is Tucker McCann from O'fallon Il. same school as 3/4* RB Kentrail Moran also from there. also same school as Dewayne Hendrix was from.
McCann got a Mizzou offer over the weekend and heads to FSU this weekend. He kicked a 61 yarder in high school a couple months ago.
My hunch is he will be our first commit other than the ESL juco guys.
Wow. If that happens, our first 3 commits would be from Illinois and we are heavily recruiting the kid from Edwardsville for 2017 AJ Epenesa.

I can't remember if it was with regard to Ofodile or Hentges, but I thought someone here had made a mention that there was actually a younger player on that team that was even better. Anyone recall this or know who I'm talking about?

Article on recent offers to Anderson brothers out of Texas.
Seems like a ton more offers to Texas kids this year. I'm hoping last year was just a factor of we had enough local talent that we didn't have to go elsewhere instead of Texas actually drying up completely.
