Man, wasn't going to watch more tape. All these late offers and I was starting to feel like, just give me TBJ please and I don't care about the rest. But I'll tell ya what, I like how this kid gets off the line. Pretty damn quick at that size. He just lives in the backfield. Even if it is highlights, he still spent a helluva lot of time in the backfield.

Nate Howard's senior film for anyone who hasn't seen it. I wouldn't say he's incredibly quick off the ball (Ivey can improve that) but he is long and holds the point of attack very well. Had 40TFL his senior year.
He reminds me a bit of Ealy.

Just watched Howard's senior highlights and they're better than I recall his junior highlights being. But is it a concern that he never puts his hand in the dirt? I guess the staff can teach it.

If it goes anything like the rest of his recruitment, there won't be any leaks. My guess is tomorrow we will get a chance to see what they're eating though.

He definitely got bigger/stronger. I didn't go back and watch it again, so I could be wrong, but the thing that concerned me from the earlier tape was I remembered him as having twigs for legs. Not a good thing for a DLineman. Not the case anymore in his senior year tape.

Was it the Elliott's that bitched about local media not showing enough love and that's why they went elsewhere? Can't remember. I do remember Matter and some others getting pissy about it, like it was their job to recruit kids.
Well, I don't know how many of you listen to Cusumano in the STL but he's quickly becoming that guy to show the love. He used to be SLU 24/7 but he's gotten all over Mizzou and the recruits.
