This is not wishful thinking because I think Sapp is announcing for UT.
Do you think Butch gave him the ultimatum to hold his spot at UT? If so maybe he didn't want to lose and still visits Mizzou with an open mind but doesn't want to miss out at UT. It's the problem with high pressure on kids. They tell you what you want to hear under pressure. Whether its true or not. Its like waterboarding.

Per the recruiting board, they did just that. Told him they could take him and a DT and that's all the room they have. Also told him they have offers out to 2 DT's and if they both accept before him, then he's out of luck. So yep, sounds like the forced his hand into an announcement. Having said that, I do think UT is his first choice but they've had him on hold for so long until their numbers flushed out. Their numbers have now flushed out.

So sapp picked UT. will he still come to town? I would love nothing more than to steal a UT player 2 days after his commit.

I wondered that too but the article is from today. Maybe his reconfirming was taken out of context. All he did is answer the question if he was still a louisville commit and he confirmed he was. I dunno.
