Yepp and frankly, it's not exactly a common thing in the area so with him sounding like he has a stable home environment, I think that helps a ton. He also strikes me as a quiet and humble kid who doesn't like or feels awkward in the spotlight. Frankly, I think he made his mind up long ago and is just going through the motions because he's expected too. I don't get the impression he enjoys it like say Big Shel did. Hope I'm not messing with the mojo gods.

I think one was from August but the "most likely" Mizzou interview with him in a weight room is from this week. Cusumano asked him about all three visits so it has to be recent. He only scheduled Auburn last week or so.

There were 2 different videos. The initial one linked where he is in the weight room is from just the other day, where he says "most likely" Mizzou. When that video is done playing, there was a 2nd video from August where the interview is done on the practice field and that is the one where they talked about his line coach being from Mizzou.

I haven't always been a fan of Cusumano, but I'll give it to him. He's been talking a lot of Mizzou and Beckner as of late and by the way he's asked the questions, he's effectively nullified the impact of tOSU winning the NC as much as one can before TBJ goes to visit.

Beckner dropped to #2 on ESPN rankings. Mizzou has 7 4-stars on ESPN too.

Auburn offered Martin today, LSU and Ole Miss supposedly close to offering as well.

Was just perusing the LSU recruiting board and saw they are pursuing WR Brandon Martin as well. There seems to be a consensus of 2 things over there. 1. LSU could land him. 2. He is a sure fire JUCO kid.

Martin moved up to 101 on ESPN 300.
I REALLY wish we could land and him, but grades seem like a very valid reason for the lack of early interest.

They seem to scoff at the 3* rating too. They know he's a 4* at least and the only reason he isn't higher is because of those grades.

I hope they're not getting nervous about a certain east side player or that they're not sold on Harris, Loud or none of their 2014 DE recruits.
