You're probably right about MLB being the biggest threat at this point, but from what I've read, I don't know that he'll go early enough and I don't think a team would pay him over slot in a later round. Even if baseball ends up being his thing, from what I've read, college still might be his best option.

Former Mizzou commitment Daniel Imatorbhebhe has committed to Florida, per his Twitter. The TE from Georgia decommitted from MU in late Sep.

Yeah, good luck with that. They might compete for the east again about the time he leaves.

Is Ryan Williams considering Arkansas? I read an article on SDS which referenced this and it's the first I've heard of it.

You should link that article so we can all laugh at it. Williams has been 100% to Mizzou for almost a full year.

I think Arkansas was a name talked about way early in the process. I'm talking 6 months or more before he committed to Mizzou. Since then, all I've seen is 100% Mizzou.

I think it was just lazy reporting. They probably just looked at 247's two crystal ball predictions. 1 for Mizzou and 1 for Arkansas and ran with it without doing any real digging.

And if he's a sleeper and he might be that good AND he might be our 3rd best back in this class...the future is looking bright.

4* JUCO OT Martina Ranking committed to Miss St. No biggie but did have Mizzou offer and was one of the JUCO linemen we were looking at. Instead, we already got a commit from Cuellar and might bet one from Howell I think it is.

I tend believe less and less in the reporting at SDS. They had a story earlier this week talking about the best recruits at each SEC east school and listed our's as Nate Strong and runners up with a few others that were not Drew Lock. He wasn't mentioned. They missed several from Florida and South Carolina too. Just seems like lazy inaccurate reporting.

If I'm Ryan Williams no way am I excited about coming to Mizzou at this point.

Too many people in the way of playing time, plus Doherty is likely another roadblock.

Wat? We are so thin at WR and they want him to be able to play WR and RB. I'd say the situation looks good for him.

We do have just a log jam of RB's. I suppose if there is talk of Strong having to go the JUCO route, that would make Williams the only true freshman RB in the class right now, pending Doherty.

Senior - Hansbrough, Hunt
Junior - Steward
Soph - Witter, Abbington
Freshmen - Walters(RS), Strong(True), Williams(True)

If he redshirts his freshman year, then his RS freshman year will look like:

Senior - Steward
Junior - Witter, Abbington
Soph - Walters
RS Fresh - Williams (Strong if no JUCO)

The best players play. Hunt is a walk on, not really in the mix. Stewart didn't play at all last year. Who knows about what the future holds for him.

With all of these RB's, anyone think one of Witter or Walters transfers? I'd just be surprised to see them both stick around all 4 years.

Don't be surprised if Doherty plays in the slot.

It is possible there will be a transfer, but there are too many undetermined variables right now.
IMHO I feel Abbington or Strong have the potential to be Mizzou's best running back ever.

Or safety? Wasn't he a running back in HS?

We can probably use him there.

Strong is a freak. He's going to play at 220+ And is also probably the fastest back we will have.

Sucks he is JUCO bound, but he'll take the same path as Abbington.

Witter is too damn small.

Watching him get bent in half against the full grown men of Bama was frightening.
