Mizzou is listed as one of williamson's top 4 but he hasn't had an official so I doubt it's us. Probably Louisville.

With the Nubs making this flop hire of Riley from Oregon State, you have to think this helps us with the Davis twins. It sounds like he will bring most of his OSU staff along with him, and they said if Kaz goes they go.

Also, Hale Hentges lost a star on Rivals down to a 5.7 3* now, so obviously Bama will drop him and he'll be ours. /sarcasm

Riley is a better hire than most regular fans think. You have to realize that Oregon State is in a difficult situation with recruits, especially with Oregon and Washington up the road. He takes 3 and 2 star recruits and coaches them up to compete against 4 star players (much like Pinkel does).

I've lived in southern Washington for 8 years and you can't help but root for Riley's teams. He is a class act.

Having said all of that, I hope the Davis twins come to Mizzou.

I just watched Hentges Senior Hudl film. As a tight end he appears to have avg. speed and runs straight routes, kinda stiff. Great size makes him hard to tackle.

But on defense I was impressed. Gets off the line quickly, uses his hands, shows great strength and good motor. To me looks like a JJ Watt type.

Am I wrong?

As I figured and posted on the rant, the UAB players will be given an immediate release/eligibility exemption so they can play next season for their new teams.

Anyone checked out their receivers?

Nothing that I could see. Their 3 leading receivers were all seniors.

I just looked at their roster, they have several big ( 6'3 to 6'5 ish kids listed at receiver and TE who are first or second year kids. One of them looks like he played a lot on special teams and racked up a lot of stats.

We could also use a talented looking DE or LB with size(think Markus Golden) as a late pickup. I'm sure we're already looking at JUCO's for these positions so there is no reason not to look at these UAB kids as well.

George Brown flipped from UF, but to LSU not Mizzou.

“@RyanBartow: Breaking: George Brown flips his commit from #Florida to #LSU."- if anybody can develop him it is LSU.

Short blurb on Lock playing in All American game. Possibly Beckner too.

Beckner better ease up on any sacks.

Some of this may be Germans but found some stuff on twitter...

LB Saleem Brightwell will be taking an official this weekend

Nate Howard has set his OV, but I don't know the date. Looks like he'll actually take 5 so I don't think he is committed to Wisconsin at all. Should have a good chance to flip him

Just saw this. Thanks for posting. If they're bringing in a JUCO tackle, do you think he steps in right away and plays? One would think or why go the JUCO route.

Pinkel is on record stating that any Juco must be a starter or they aren't worth signing.
