Just depends on who actually enrolls in January. Its looking good and it seems the staff is riding the on field success to target some young men that are graduating HS in December as well.

2015 could be a great year for Mizzou recruiting looking ahead.

Pinkel safe. Mizzou proves itself in the SEC.

Yes please!

Yeah, Genro is very cool. He's playing in the IM thread, I'll handle this. Genro isn't a troll. I assume you have no issues with giving him access?

No, of course not. He just asked killz in a thread earlier and killz didn't respond to him.

OK. I just asked him about it in the IM thread, saw him playing there. He's a sharp guy, and would probably add some good content.

I'm considering whipping up a Mizzou sign and going to Gameday in the morning.

Well, we'll be there, and probably able to see it from our tailgate. Just need a good sign idea. Maybe something about a Yankee Invasion...

Thats a very cool experience for any college football fan. LSU vs Bama. Nice.

Take some pics and give us a Mizzou write up from your perspective when you get back.

Good stuff semo. We have come a long way as a fan base and program.

Will do! It's a very different feel here, that's for sure. College football is a religion, and people practice it fervently. I went to the Bama-Tennessee game (Third Saturday In October, or TSIO - only it was played on the 4th Saturday this year.) When they won, they did their Rammer Jammer cheer, and this little old lady sitting behind me, must have been 80 if she was a day, was screaming "Give 'em HELL Alabama!" at the top of her lungs! It was awesome.

We have a long way to go in tailgating. They are set up for kids in a way Mizzou has never done. It's basically like a carnival for kids at every home game, with games, bounce castles, tattoo painters, all that stuff. And big food wagons everywhere. I'll try to take some pics. Very cool.

And it goes without saying - if any of y'all ever want to come down for a game, you're welcome at our tailgate! Tomorrow will be a seafood boil, I think there will be gumbo, corndog bites, dirty rice, Tailgate Beer, yellow hammers, live music, the whole deal!

Love reading the Nate Brown comments...

Mizzou gets three 4-star commits this week

What a week for Mizzou. Late Friday, it found out it landed four-star linebacker Brandon Lee of Indianapolis, and on Thursday, one of its top recruits was recognized as a four-star prospect. Nate Brown, a Georgia native, found out that Scout.com awarded him his fourth star.

Earlier in the week, four-star lineman Andy Bauer switched his allegiance from Ole Miss to Mizzou, giving the Tigers their first four-star commitment.

Remember, a week ago this was a class of 20-something three or two-star level recruits.

So, three four-star prospects in a week–a sign that the program is getting the kind of respect the national polls are giving it for its on-the-field exploits. And it’s about time. The program now has 26 commitments on board for 2014.

“I personally don’t try to pay too much attention to that star system and the website and all that, I try to focus on the game and getting myself better,” Brown told Saturday Down South late Thursday. “I feel like I’ve been underrated all along. Last year I had an injury that set me back but I played through it, and that may have affected my ranking some. I worked my tail off in the offseason.”

He may not be doing a jig over the four-star news, but Brown did acknowledge that if it makes the fans happy and helps others get noticed, he’s glad he got it.

“I just hope it brings more attention to more recruits that are on board with Mizzou,” Brown told SDS. “Like I’ve seen (fellow Mizzou commit) Thomas Wilson play and he’s really good. I’ve watched film of the other guys, and at the end of the day, they’re just as good. The stars and stuff don’t matter.”

Even with the news in the past week, Mizzou is still rated last in the SEC in the team recruiting rankings. Go figure.
