Arkansas is the favorite for him but Mizzou did only offer less than two weeks ago. Hes someone we could steal.

Working off the random number of taking 25 commits, that leaves 9 spots. Personally, I'd prefer 5 DL's and 4 DE's. If you get a QB or RB, then plan on going over 25.

I'm concerned that we have only 1 DE and no DL so far. But we should take a QB and at least 1 RB in every class. And we should have more than 25 scholarships to give, our last classes were small.

Keep in mind if Jackson Morrison is to get an offer and commit he will count against the 2013 class and not the 2014 class as he will enroll early. We are viewed as the favorites for a few DT's but they will be JUCO guys and I am not sure where they will be at eligibility wise.

That has been my concern as we've come along and still all I seem to hear about are WR's and DB's. Let's say we get the Zander(???) at QB and Smith at RB, that takes us to 18 commits already with 0 DL and 1 DE. I'm guessing/hoping we take in the area of 28 commits then?

Any juco kids that can enroll in december would also go towards the previous year's class #.

Has a decent offer list for a three star player
Three-star defensive tackle D.J. Williams (Lufkin, Texas/Lufkin) expected big things to come out of his visit to the Texas Stampede on Saturday. He truly thought he was going to get an offer.
But Williams (6-foot-3, 270 pounds) never made it to Austin due to some last-minute scheduling issues. So now what?
Well, Williams isn’t hurting for offers. He has them from Kansas, Houston, Miami, Missouri, North Texas and Oklahoma. Because of that, he believes he’ll have to move on from the Longhorns.
“The ship probably has sailed,” he said, “I just haven’t had an opportunity to go down there. I was planning on going to a bunch of other schools, so I probably won’t have the chance to go down there.”
Williams did say that he would listen to the Longhorns if they remained in contact. But, for the moment, he is going to focus on the visits he knows he’ll make in the future.
The first of those likely will be Missouri, which would like to get him on campus before the season starts.
“I’m just really trying to see if they have a good academic program and if I could get early playing time,” he said.
The reputation of the SEC is something that, not surprisingly, appeals greatly to him.
“It is a great conference and gives you a lot of competition,” he said.
Another program Williams is definitely going to visit sooner rather than later is Oklahoma, long one of his favorites.
“Really about the Sooners, they base their defense around the defensive line,” he said. “They have great coaches and great facilities.”
Williams said he’d likely attend an OU home game and also the Red River Rivalry.

Cheshire...isn't he another Arky kid? Not from Arkansas, but all but signed? Or am I thinking of the wrong kid?
We're the favorites for him going in to this visit but in not sure he is 100% sold on Arkansas. I think it might be more of a case of we were his best offer. He just pushed his announcement date back again from the 23rd to the 30th. Of he had been truly set on Arkansas then he would have committed with the other four Louisiana kids that committed at our camp two weeks ago.
I definitely think that with a good visit, you guys could end up landing him. Evangel has a high flying spread passing offense so I think he would rather stay in that open spread system if he can. That could make the Mizzou system more favorable to hil than Arkansas imo. It should be an interesting scenario to keep an eye over the next month.

Would Cornelius have known L'Damien Washington? Or his younger brother maybe? That could play in our favor somewhat..

Cornelius told pm he was shocked in a good way during his visit to Mizzou.

I would be ok without taking a qb this class because it helps our chances getting drew lock or the dual threat qb from Kansas next year. We are pretty deep at the position right now.
Cornelius is the WR from Shreveport right? It would be nice if Washington could help us recruit Louisiana a bit before he graduates. That's a hot recruiting bed. Lots of talent there.
We need some D-linemen and some D-ends this class badly

Per Brian Adams at PM, Cornelius has named Arkansas and Mizzou as his top 2.

Jhonathon Williams is a strongside DE from Michigan. NR as of now. Received an offer from Mizzou but also has interest from Nebraska and IU. He is 6'6 230+.

Is it possible to have 25 diamond in the roughs that all the big schools simply missed out on? Just getting tiresome seeing us going up against MAC teams.

Augusta arrived in Como tonight.

You can take 29 in this class as long as you have 4 early enrollees.

DLINE!!!
Don't get me wrong, would love for the kid to choose Mizzou, but we need some big boys on the defensive side.
