The thing we can at least like about these players is they have size. The two O-Lineman have sec size and the safety is a bigger safety who can hit. The quality prospects are holding out to see if we can actually turn it around. Hard to convince 4*s to commit coming off a 5-7 season with uncertainty at the HC future.

OC Henson comments today saying biggest struggle with recruiting is the facilities. Would have trouble recruiting with the facilities in the Big 12, said SEC is not the problem, facilities need an upgrade.

More than the stadium itself? Did he say? We all know improvements are coming to the stadium and I hope they're good enough. I fear MU is a millionaire playing in a billionaire's club. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Kyron Watson the linebacker from East St. Louis we were recruiting and had on a visit with his teammates committed to KU today. Good grab for them, had a pretty impressive offer list. Interesting seeing the 2 teammates pick opposite ends of the border war.... and wont ever play each other.

So we've lost 2 recruits to kU now? What the hell?!?!?!?!

Offer JUCO CB Jamal Mayo no stars as of now. Decent size at 5'11.

#Mizzou offers freshman TE from Georgia LINK …
Has a nice offer list, Buford HS is a football factory about 35 miles from Athens. Solid UGA school but they produce about 8-10 FBS players a year & UGA can't take 'em all...

So the question is, is UGA going after this kid? Thanks for the info btw.

Not as of now...For some reason we've only recruited a coupla TE outta Ga in the last 3 years....
He's being recruited by most as a TE & not a DE... Will you guys use a TE in your "new" "O"?... Kids already 6'5" 240....
FWIW... smart move to start offering the '15 - '16 kids early, get them to at least look your way. Lotta under the radar kids & kids who've moved into Ga. from elsewhere that don't know shite about UGA... Get your name out there & your foot in the door & who knows...

TE are very important in hensons offense. More in line blocking from the TE's as well. This kid seems to fit the mold.

I wonder if playing together at the next level is a driving force for the kids. If so, it can only help MU. I don't see many other schools offering both.

Yes I think that is a factor from what I heard. Don't see schools like Texas offering them both which would definitely help us. Just got to get them on campus for a visit.

Love the ideas getting both of these players. Hopefully we can at least land three to five 4*s in this class. Even if HCGP gets fired, having a few more 4*s would give the next coach something to work with.

I'm thirsty, pass that kool aid.

Gotta stay hydrated. Could be a long season.

We really need to hope recruits hold off for a bit before committing. This year MU should be able to start off with 3-4 wins right off the bat (Maybe even 5 if we can get Vandy). Hopefully that can create some buzz with recruiting, even if they struggle down the stretch. Last year it was just bad from the start.
Again, don't know how accurate, but now Johnson doesn't appear to have MU on his radar. Hopefully he's an example of someone if he just waits, see's MU get off to a hot start, will reconsider. Same for a kid like Booth.

This is why I'm really confused by this eagerness to snag 2 star guys with offers to Old Dominion... I just don't get it. MU's stock should rise this year, would be really hard for it to fall. Mid season we should have more leverage with recruits.
