Reports on twitter that Cage has eliminated us and is down to ND and MSU, even though MSU has 3 DT commits and ND has 2 versus our 0.
Also, PM reporting Stepfawn Hughes has decommitted, or will soon.

Wonder if there's something to the grades thing.
Isn't he a relative of White? If so, I was wondering if he'd decommit because of how little White was used. For a former 5* recruit, it has to be a bit shocking that he couldn't walk right in to Mizzou and start, regardless of who else was already there. I don't agree with that, but was something I was questioning all along.

Not sure, PM mentioned a flip to TCU, but I'd read he might have to go JUCO too.

I believe he's White's half-brother. I expect to see White used a lot more this year - but he couldn't climb the depth chart at Texas, and I personally think our receiving corp is better than theirs and has been for years. Could be biased, but I'd take our receivers, as a group, over just about group any other unit in the country. I think it would have been tough for anyone, even a 5* transfer, to beat out Lucas, Washington etc for playing time last year.
My guess there is a grade issue. But as I recall, TCU was one of his other choices when he committed here, perhaps our continued pursuit of WR targets spooked him.

Thank you! We appreciate it. If y'all start recruiting in Missouri, we'll keep an eye out for you too. Though I don't know why you'd do that.

Hey now semo!!! They did take a QB out of Missouri who didn't end up doing shite. Might have lost out to Murray in fact. Can't remember his name. Think he went to Colorado grad school and tried WR for a year or something.
ETA - And welcome Porter. Look forward to anything you can add.

That would be Logan Gray. And I believe he lost out to Matt Stafford, but I'm not positive about that. He was a good kid. And one that really didn't want to stay home, from what I understand. I can't blame a kid for wanting to experience something different, especially when they grew up in Columbia. Some just want to spread their wings a little.
And anyway, shhh! Let him think that Missouri doesn't have anyone worth going after!

While Logan Gray didn't end up doing anything for them, his HS teammate Aron White played TE for them. I remember him being a pretty decent player. Georgia came right into Columbia and snatched two away from us.
...They can't be trusted.

That would be Logan Gray.
