I think the only thing I saw regarding Ross is that he'll still visit Mizzou. That has to be a good thing. He's not making a decision based on the emotion of having just visited UGA and he's not so overwhelmed or in love with the state school that he's bypassing all other visits.

We are REALLY thin at DE. If we don't flip a couple of these late visitors we are going to have to go JUCO crazy next year recruiting them.

With recent success at this position, Mizzou should have no problem recruiting DE's.

WTF is going on here?

There just has to be something that we don't see. And maybe it is facilities that play a huge role in it. I don't understand how Tennessee has 33 commits with two 5* players and 15 4* players with as bad as they have been and Mizzou is consistant at winning 10 games and has trouble getting 3-6 4*s.

Well, the facilities need an upgrade, for sure. But I don't get it either.

I wish we had some insight into Ross, or what made the Georgia writer so confident of a flip.

I don't think you can say enough about Tenns facilities and football tradition/history, plus they are right in the middle of SEC country. An original member of the conference doesn't hurt either.

According to PM, Ross is 50/50 on flipping. According to PM, some unknown Georgia web site posted they were pretty confident Ross would flip to Georgia, but Gabe looked into the site, and at this time, doesn't seem to be very legit. The main Georgia recruiting boards doesn't have much concerning Ross at this time.

Really hope we keep his commitment. He reminds me of William Moore. Similar frame (6'1 vs 6'2) and 200 pounds in HS. Plus both are big hitters.

I'd like to keep him too. And I'd love to flip Hendrix or Sawyer. Or both. Then add the WR from north gwinnett.

More subscriptions. $$$.
Ross is a stud and kudos to your staff for evaluating a talent nobody saw. Picking through Georgia will yield good players to Mizzou every year.
And, do you have to be a small forward to play receiver there? Damn.

My impression has been that he's been pretty quiet about it for the most part. I'd question anyone who says anything with confidence regarding Ross.

We do like our receivers tall.

If they're not over 6', they have to have major hops. Generally, we seem to prefer them 6'1" or taller.

Bummer about the Texas twins.

We just took a safety tonight. I'm thinking UGA has moved on from Ross.

I didn't think we'd flip Hendrix. And I'd love to hang onto Ross. I'd also love to pick up Caleb Scott, and flip Dante Sawyer. Then I'd be happy.

If you look at our "offers" we only offered 1, 5 star recruit Lorenzo Carter DE. It seems our coaches don't yet feel like their recruiting acumen is strong enough to compete with the other SEC schools so they focus on lower ranked less competitive recruits.

Which reminds me, Collin Giesey from GA is 6'3", 260 SDE very strong, gets off blocks and tackles with authority. Coach Hansen has talked to him but no offer. And he wants to come to Mizzou.
