Well, that sucks!

Do you think we're going to finish strong with this recruiting class?

Sorry to hear about that. You back up and running? I was just thinking back the other day to signing day last year. Didn't you have a thread reporting on signatures as they came in? Wasn't sure if you planned on doing that again. I know I enjoyed it.

Poona Ford is NOT visiting USCe. Check out the SC board. Sounds like a drama between Poona and/or HS coach with USCe.

Sounds like USCe is now out.

Now, Purdue is also listed.

Dewayne Hendrix sounds like he is taking a second visit to mizzou.

I read that Hendrix' whole family, except for his Mom in O'Fallon, IL, is from Tennessee. They're pretty confident about keeping him. Apparently, his girlfriend is going to Mizzou, and his Mom encouraged him to take one more visit just to make sure since we've continued to recruit him. But he says he's still solid to Tennessee.

I would love to get Ford on campus. Any word on where he's visiting other than Texas?

One of the UT posters said it's actually a small school in St. Louis, not Mizzou. Makes sense as it's just minutes away from O'Fallon, IL.

I don't think Hendrix flips but that's just gut feeling.

I think we'd have a better chance of flipping Dante Sawyer than Hendrix. Sawyer committed to SC, but is still taking an OV to Mizzou next weekend, along with Nate Brown. And I think Caleb Scott is visiting that weekend as well? All from the same school. You never know how that might work out for us.

Caleb Scott sounds like he'd be a great fit here.

I hope it warms up for 1/31 weekend. Lots of recruits coming in.

I'm thinking Hendrix is a long shot.

Poona Ford was suppose to visit Oregon this weekend, then switched to USCe, but now that's off. Dunno if he's made other arrangements but Purdue was in the article above.

After reading about Caleb Scott, sounds like a quality pick, but do we have room for another WR?

They're still talking to WRs. And I'd love another tall one like Caleb if we take another. But I think they are still talking to at least 3 WRs right now. That's fine with me as long as we get the defensive players to go with them.

Per their coaches, Texas commits Armanti and D'Onta Foreman looking to take an official visit to Missouri soon. That's surprising

I just read a quote from Sawyer's high school coach about all the attention he's getting right now since his performance in the all star game. It didn't mention Mizzou specifically, but with regard to all of the offers flowing in, the coach said something along the lines of Sawyer's commitment to SC couldn't be stronger. Take it for what it's worth.

I'm glad it's their job and not mine UR. I don't think I could keep straight who was coming and who was going.

Interesting to see all the WR's getting activity. I believe Nate Brown is someone who can come in day 1 and make an impact. We have 4 wideouts in the class total, although DGB2 may grey shirt. I just wonder how many we would take in this class. I am sure this is to build depth with DGB probably leaving for the draft (or prison, who knows) and 4 others are seniors next year. But going in to next year we have 12 WRs on the roster not to mention incoming Freshman. So next year counting players already committed we are looking at 15-16 WRs on the roster.

Edit: Not sure how many of those are scholarship or walk on players though.
