Thanks for the info Zoomlambder but is that a premium article? I don't think we can post complete articles from pay sites here. You can summarize if you want, in your own words, or I can delete it if you like (assuming it is a premium article).

So Ross visiting UGA and McWilliams visiting UF this weekend. UT going after Witter hard. How many, if any, flip away from MU? If any, got any thoughts on who we are most likely to lose? Conversely, any thoughts on who we're most likely to flip from someone else?
Ross makes me nervous, but maybe just because he's been pretty quiet throughout. Witter had been pretty vocal about coming to Mizzou so hopefully he's solid. McWilliams was a surprise to me.
On the other side, I don't think we have any chance with Hendrix. I think he had some ties to UT already. Bit surprised the staff backed off of Wise with how few DL commits we have. I hope that means they are confident about some others.

Just did the old creepy dude thing and took a look at Ross' twitter. Apparently Miami and Bama talked to him. When asked where he wants to go, he answered "idk". Not a good sign if you ask me.

Copying and posting articles behind a pay-wall could cause problems for TD. If you want to share info, which we appreciate, please paraphrase into your own words.

I Just hope our coaches are in these recruits ears, and reminding them why we wanted them, and why they committed to us in the first place. Recruiting is a dirty game in the SEC, we all know this. I'm not surprised other schools are coming after our guys, we just need to keep recruiting them and hang on.

Zoo, I didn't see you online to edit those posts so I had to mark them unreadable. Any questions about it let us know. Thanks for passing along though and sorry my friend.

Apparently MU offered 3* safety Kendall Adams out of Texas (KSU commit). Reading too much into it that they're concerned about losing Ross?

I would think at this point that is a legitimate concern. Otherwise, why offer a player this late in the process?

It's also possible we had an extra scholly come available, and maybe we get him and keep Ross.
To me that's just prudent recruiting. Recruit to your needs and have backup just in case. After all, you can't let a successful program be derailed by the whims of one 18 year old kid.

Hopefully he is a good coach because Glendale's football team is terrible.

Cheshire, he did a fantastic job in Ohio. He runs a spread offense, very similar to the one Mizzou runs. His teams put up a lot of points and did very well. I think he became friends with John Beckham while their kids were both being recruited. Both his sons became college QBs - one at Cincinnati and Maty at Mizzou.

Mauk has family in Springfield

That's very good to hear. My wife made us live in the Glendale school district when we moved back here because that is where she went to school. So I keep an eye on them since my kids will hopefully be playing there down the road. Hopefully he can turn it around because it's been some ugly football so far since I've been watching.

Not to diminish anything on the elder Mauk, but Dave Matter was on 920-St. Louis yesterday and said Coach Mauk was not offered a contract extension by his old school. He speculated it could have been due to his age or a disconnect with the school.
I'm sure details will come out over time...

Ross makes me nervous,
Pretty big weekend in Athens. If he does not flip this weekend, I'd think we move on. We will know if another DB is offered after the visit. With the interest from Bama and Miami, he may want to look at then as well. With Kirby coaching the DB's at Bama now, that could be scary. My understanding was he wanted an offer from UGA, but hard to say when Mizzou has been on him for so long. I don't put much stock in star ratings, but no way he is a 3*. Kudos to your staff for getting on him soon.
