Regarding Andy Bauer... the e-mails his dad sent to recuiting analysts were about the new offers he's gotten according to PS.

Just curious, why do you feel confident about Sandberg to Mizzou?

FWIW he hasn't visited anywhere this summer. I'm not saying State leads but we have been recruiting him for over a year.

Few notes:

Dan Skipper visited this weekend

Nate Crawford says he's interested in visiting

Darien Williston has Mizzou in his top 3 along with Iowa St and Kentucky

Bobby Leath has Mizzou in his top 5 with KState, Iowa St, S. Florida, and Florida

All I said was we just offered and one website has us in his top 4 already. I'll be confident if he visits Columbia.

A couple tidbits from the KC camp today

"Missouri's one of those places that just feels like home. - Zach Hannon

Atlanta,GA WR Sterling Taylor said he would probably commit on the spot if he was offered

If he visits I will be feeling pretty confident also. If we take 24/7 claim of his top 4 schools, and also assume that LSU is done at Quarterback, then I really like where we sit compared to Miss St and Clemson. No inside information but our offense would be great for him as a dual threat and he would play some games closer to home since we are in the East.

Y'all have a QB committed and State doesn't, how do you figure you have the advantage?

FWIW Sandberg is playing baseball (A lot) this summer and the only place he has gone in record saying he is visiting for sure is Mississippi State.

His thinking is Missouri can sell him on being the next Chase Daniel or Blaine Gabbert. MSU can sell him on being the next Tyson Lee or Kevin Fant.

Hey do you know anything about Aren Martin out if Waynesville? He is at our camp this week and apparently was pretty impressive yesterday. Ive never heard of him and he has no offers so I'm wondering if he's really a sleeper or our recruiting guy is just reaching for something to talk about.

He certainly could be a sleeper but I have yet to hear his name mentioned yet. I'm not even sure if he's been to any of the Mizzou camps yet

I know nothing but Waynesville draws heavily from Fort Leonard Wood, if he is an Army brat sometimes kids will come without as much info.

WPS20 asked about him awhile back too. I haven't heard his name mentioned with Mizzou. I read he does have a good shot to earn an offer from Arkansas though.

Thanks for all the info. I guess we are working him at DB and WR. It will be interesting to see if he earns an offer.
