I love how the EZE moniker has stuck! We may need some more EZE quotes up in here!

Of the guys who are currently committed who do yall think will get the most playing time this year? I think we see a lot of Augusta. Dude has good size and losing Sheldon could allow him to step in and be a good contributor. Chase could see time too but with Josey back healthy and Hansburough already there having a decent year and Marcus Murphy as well, I just see us having a crowded backfield.

It looks more like JUCO with Augusta.

That is Antar, not Augusta. He would not have gotten ND and so many B1G offers if he were an academic risk.

I think AJ Logan plays before Augusta, personally.

OK, I knew Antar was going the JUCO route. I was prepared on that one. I thought Augusta was OK. Whew.

What makes you say this? And Not disagreeing too much, personally both may very well get a lot of playing time.

He is bigger and stronger and almost as athletic as Augusta.

Don't let the lack of recruiting info on Logan fool you. The kid only ever wanted to play for Mizzou. He never attended any rivals' camps or camps for other schools. Nobody got to see much of him other than the HS teams he played against.

His coach said in the Columbia Tribune that anytime colleges would call him, he wouldn't even tell them about Logan and the ones that did ask about Logan he told them not to waste their time because he only wants Mizzou. The coach said he could easily have 10+ BCS offers if he wanted to participate in the recruiting game.

EDIT: Mizzou staff was also really high on the kid for a long time but I guess he had to get some things in order before he got his Mizzou offer. I thought I read that he had to get academics in good shape before he got his offer. Once he got his offer he committed on the spot with zero deliberation. The kid REALLY REALLY wants to play for Mizzou and worked his butt off to make that happen. He comes from a VERY rough background so for the kid to get to this point is amazing in and of itself. The rest of his family is dead or in prison if I remember right.

Agree. I think Logan comes in ready to work and do what he has been dreaming of, make an impact at Mizzou. Augusta needs a year to breathe (recruiting) and transition IMO. But you never know till you put the pads on. Maybe Augusta is ready to go, maybe both, maybe neither.

Antar is going JUCO. I have heard Augusta is a JUCO risk as well. It might even be a low risk so dont freak out, but its out there. And the BIG offers dont mean shite. I mean Pipkins barely qualified last year and he is at Michigan.

Yeah, Augusta needs to put on at least 20-25lbs before he'll see much time at Mizzou. I think he can do that in a year and a half, but not over the summer.
