It doesn't matter. A kid doesn't even have to sign a LoI. It does nothing but prevent the kid from going to another school w/out getting a release.

I think they're just saying it's down to us, USF and Cincy, unless again I'm looking at the wrong guy/wrong place. Looks like he had offers from Rutgers, Ariz St, Ark, Aub, Clemson, Florida, LSU, Illinois, Miami, Mich St, ND, Ohio St, Oklahoma, Oklahoma St, Ole Miss, Tenn and USCw. I gotta be looking at the wrong thing. With all those names, why would your final 3 be just about the weakest of all the names. I understand when 1 or 2 underdogs make the final cut, but all 3?

See, that's what makes me wonder if other schools knew something and pulled his offers. It doesn't make sense otherwise.

Is there any chance the staff can get Mixon back on board. That hurts beyond all hurt. Probably one of our biggest areas of need is on the DL, we were already thin and the recruiting class was relatively lean at that position and now it gets worse.

I'm sure they'll try, but it doesn't sound like they ever thought he was solid. But anything can happen.

Like the looks from TE's and DB's but would really like to get another big body or 2 on the OLine or DLine.

Let me put it this way. He always saw us as the 2nd option. When he committed it was temporary. He shopped himself to OU and they didnt give him a committable offer. Now the same with Nubs.

Well if you want any kind of a positive nugget of information, do you remember Toby Johnson and how he had UGA out in front. It appears they have pulled his offer. Gary better reach him immediately.

I understand that, but he is still SEC eligible correct? I cant imagine Pinkel letting that stand in the way if he is conference eligible. I mean we have tried to recruit guys with credits that wouldnt be accepted. I am sure we are fine with a guy whose will be. We will see though.
