So, what's your favorite? Pryor's or Alex's?

Haha every time I would investigate how to start posting, it turned out so simple I almost didn't want to admit it ha, something would come up and I would just catch up on what everyone was hearing. Growing up 20 min from the squawks campus has turned me into a super fan and always am looking for passionate fans who want as much Mizzou info as possible, like me! This Singleton kid...what do we know about him other than his school and position, anybody heard any info on his play?

Visiting Wisco this weekend. Basically I look at him like this. We need a JUCO Safety. Badly. If he is an upgrade at the position, he will play and add value. If he isnt, then we wont have lost anything. But we cant afford not to take that chance. We need to land him.

somehwere between ken'ronte walker and pig brown would be amazing. IMO matt white is absolutely pathetic.

Correct, which is why I feel confident that all we can do is upgrade.

2 years ago Matt White was skinny and looked out of place. I thought he looked much better this year, put on a few pounds.
We need a good corner to emerge opposite EJ the most.

He is too tentative and nowhere near physical enough to play every down in the SEC. Better athlete than Pig Brown, for example. But Pig was physical and instinctual, Matt White can't play. I think Ian Simon will be a hybrid safety/corner guy in spring ball and will wind up wherever we need him most, dude can play.

What do you think about a youngster like Abbington. Guess hard to say being a freshman and I know he's stated he wants to play RB. Personally, I see too many Wingo comparisons in a certain way and would like to see him on the defensive side.

Sorry I'm the bearer of bad news but one of the rivals national guys said he heard from a good source Elliott will be attending tOSU. He said it should be definite by this weekend, too bad but it's just another nail in pinks coffin

Well that sucks. Wish him well.

I don't wish him well. I don't really care how he does at tOSU. Would have been nice to get another RB in this class.

Yeah, I read that too. So we can resume bashing Pinkel?
If we go 7-5 next year, I want an upset. He cant have a patsy schedule, get to 7-5, and have beaten nobody.

Agreed stripes, I just hope when we inevitably have to can pinkel in the next two seasons he doesn't leave the cupboard bare like LMA

I mean people will bitch and moan about 7-5 shouldnt be grounds for firing. But when you have a gift wrapped non-con schedule, poor recruiting classes (compared to our conference and division competition), and your best win at the end of the year is maybe Vanderbilt. I just dont see how we would compete with the upper tier of teams in our division under him. 8-4 and he is safe no matter what. But less than that and he needs to beat one of TAMU, UF, UGA, or S. Caro. 6-6 is gone almost no matter what.

7-5 and Pinkel should be fired immediately upon the 5th loss. 8-4 is a minimum with this schedule if Pinkel wants to prove 2012 was just a year of bad luck and bad breaks. Otherwise, 7-5 or worse just proves that 2012 Mizzou's program really was that uncompetitive and that is not acceptable after 10+ years on the job.
