The pictures come from EE walking by the student section as they cheered for him. Apparently, a kid in the student section had a poster with Stacy Elliot in the front, and Zeke Elliot in the back in Mizzou Jerseys. He had Stacy Elliot sign it and said that Stacy was in tears when he did.

Does anyone have a photo of the poster??

As much as I'd like an interview talking about the virtues of Mizzou, or even a commitment itself, I do have to say I kind of respect the way Zeke has handled all the recruiting. He could have made it a circus.

I dont think the attention around DGBs visit was any of his doing. That was the fans and media around him. I mean its not his fault he was the #1 recruit. I dont see what he did wrong.

I think both are very mature and respectable

DGB handled his recruitment just fine. Let's leave him alone.

I like our chances with Zeke. I don't know him but he looked happy in the pictures.

Why do you have to be so critical? DGB is a good kid, and overcame a lot to get where he is. He doesn't need pejoratives thrown at him, especially for things beyond his control. As I recall, he had good grades in HS, and there isn't exactly an equivalent of John Burroughs in Springfield. And I don't believe he sought out the media attention - it came along with the label slapped on him by the media as the "number 1 recruit."

I'm glad DGB is a Tiger, and I hope Zeke will be as well. I welcome all of our recruits, and support them until they give me reason not to.

New Elliot Article

ELLIOTT HAS A BIG DECISION TO MAKE

Gary Pinkel and the Mizzou Tigers have done a really good job of keeping the best kids from the area in state for the Class of 2013. The one that got away, may have been the most talented. About ten months ago, Ezekiel Elliot made a pledge to Ohio State.

Back in November, a source told USATodayHSS.com that the door may not be totally closed for Mizzou. The source said Elliott, whose parents both went to Mizzou, would probably listen but was concerned with the backlash from the Ohio State fan base, if he did indeed look around.

Elliott made his official visit to Mizzou this past weekend and according to his father, it couldn't have went better. The highlight for Elliott was the "M-I-Z, E-Z-E" chant at the basketball game.

Mizzou is trying to sell Elliott on the Jeremy Maclin story. Maclin was originally committed to Oklahoma before flipping to Missouri and we all know how that turned out.

While Elliott was at Missouri this weekend, another big time running back named Dontre Wilson was visiting Columbus. A source told USATodayHSS.com that Wilson's visit has caused a little tension between Elliott and Ohio State.

The new offensive coordinator for Mizzou has also thrown a wrinkle in to Elliott's decision. Mizzou has told Elliott that Josh Henson's offense will be more tailored to the running back than in years past.

Stacy Elliott, Ezekiel's father, says his son's head is spinning and he is slept the entire car ride home.

If he were to flip, we expect the decision to come before National Signing Day on February 6th.

This, and how others took my post is pretty hilarious. It's sad, but hilarious at the same time.

How was I critical? I think anytime something is said in a non politically correct tone people think it's critical. There really was no criticism in that post.

DId I say he was a bad kid? Did I not mention that he had no control into the environment he was born into??? So why make this comment? Makes no sense.

Well at least it's got him thinking. The thing he has to keep in his mind is there really isn't a bad decision. They're all good decisions, I just happen to think he'd find Mizzou the better of many good options. Wish him luck in his decision and his future, wherever he decides to go.

Not just....YESSSS!!!! But HELL YESSS!!!! Balanced threats both in the air and on the ground. Zeke along with Henry and DGB could make this offense alittle harder to handle. We'll have to wait and see.

Well, your post was whacked, but as I recall you called him a cracky who could barely speak English. That's highly critical, and downright mean, IMO.

You know, if everyone seems to have a problem with what you said except you, the problem might actually be with what you said.

I like you, gray, and I think you have some very interesting opinions and outlooks. I also think you're very smart. I just didn't like what you said this time.

Now, on to a more exciting topic....so glad to hear his dad say the visit couldn't have gone better! That's awesome!! And that the MIZ-EZE chant was the best part!! Hope he'll flip and be a Tiger in black and old gold!!

It's that MIZ chant.....it hits a heart string. No doubt he will be one of the "big men" on campus here and has a history here. He would not have any of that at Ohio State. No history, and just a number....they already proved that by bringing in another high profile RB for a visit. Or maybe they seen this comming before Mizzou did....

I was told that Urban Meyer always likes to take 2 backs in every class. So telling Zeke he'd be the only back was likely just a recruiting tool. And if he's not honest about that, what else would he be dishonest about? That's what I'd be thinking about if I were Zeke and his family.

I don't blame tOSU for wanting more than one RB in a class - we like that as well, but we don't tell kids otherwise to get them to commit. Urban probably thought it was close enough to NSD that he could recruit another back and not lose Zeke. Hope he overplayed his hand.

You, like most, spot red flags when the tone of something isn't politically correct, you spotted bad things in my comment and that stuck out to you, you jumped to conclusions without absorbing the full context, as evident by your inaccurate summary of what I wrote.

Someone said both DGB and EE are intelligent and mature.

I replied that DGB can barely make a proper sentence, which is true. I did not call him a cracky, I said he was born to a crack mother, which is true. I went on to say that he had no control over the environment he was born into. I'd go on explaining but there is no point.
