His parents have had dreams about him being the starting Quarterback for the University of Arkansas. And no that is not a joke.

Zeke at least was scared to visit, because OSU would pull the scholly. If he waits until the last weekend like Dorial did, it will be too late for them to pull it and try to find a replacement. I kind of see his dad talking him into just going in to visit on the last weekend, and getting the Dorial-level treatment. I have always seen this happening so if it does, this is where you heard it first.

Wasnt there an issue where he hasn't taken the ACT yet? I thought I remember hearing that. Is he a risk not to academically qualify? Not trying to speculate just throwing out there in case someone knows

This......

I've heard the same thing on the ACT with Ramirez. This makes more sense than anything else.

So when Boyd goes the Juco route, is Ramirez going to follow? I wouldn't think so. Besides that, I don't think I'd want my name tied to the mess Boyd has going on.

Doubt we end up getting those guys. I literally have zero faith in GP, and will have even less faith in him when he promotes Henson or hill to OC. Plus I just saw the revenue numbers today and needless to say they are not pretty. 52nd in the nation and significantly behind kU and ksnake. Our AD has a lot of catch up work to do

Didn't we forfeit all our Big 12 money? 52nd with no conference TV money is pretty ok.

Clemson TE commit Jordan Leggett will visit

Tampa DE Justin Madison may visit

Pinkel and Hill are on the road to Hutchinson,KS to check on Toby Johnson and Ben Bradley

Dimarya Mixon will be in this weekend

Darien Willston says he'll be in Columbia this weekend or the next

This may be the biggest visit weekend of the year with most of the committed guys coming in along with some big uncommitted prospects

Well we lost a lot of money leaving the Big XII, but when Arkansas and SC came to the conference, they were way behind also. Once you are surrounded by your competition, you know what is expected of you so that you will fit in. We will catch up for sure.

Alright y'all talked me off the ledge a bit. I just hope we aren't alright with sticking around down in the dregs with Kentucky and Vandy. I guess we will see how this progresses in 5 years, it's gonna take some time to catch up

And UR, this does sound like a huge recruiting weekend!

Any word on Augusta? Seems he's still very high on Mizzou. Would just like to get some momentum going and these kids feed off one another at times. Doesn't have to happen but would be nice to kick start this big weekend with a nice commit.

Any thoughts on what, if any effect the absence of an OC will have during the recruiting visit this weekend?

I think you can minimize it with some truthful marketing.

"We are pursuing some national names for OC that are going to fit well with the personnel and tenor of our offenses of the past. Blah blah blah."
