I agree. Spent some time pounding fan graphs as well but the kid is legit as a CF.
I just hate the talk from some that want to move him to the corner OF already that really have no clue.
He should have been in CF all season.

Would love Gonzalez. If Holliday is back by playoffs, that's a great problem to have. After the season, let Heyward walk and get the compensatory pick. Got Gonzalez for what? 2 more years under contract? Correct me if I'm wrong.
As for your rotation...no Waccha?
ETA - I know he's had a couple rough outings but I'm not ready to give up on him.

Errr, read Waino as Wacha...but yeah. We have pitching.
Need a bat.

Quite possibly brother. Wouldnt that be something.
I just casually missed Michael Wacha in my projected rotation in 2017.
We are spoiled.

@LangoschMLB: Per source, #stlcards called #brewers re: Adam Lind before tonight; so far talks have gone nowhere b/c of no match with other pieces. (1/2)

You dont give up "cogs" for 3 months of Adam Lind. frick them.
Make a real move or let Reynolds do the job and look at it next year.

Especially when those cogs are sure to burn your arse in division for years to come.

Just can't see looking at next year having the best record in the game. Hell, maybe we can win it all without a move but I don't see it with the offense going into hiding so often.
Lind is a good hitter. He needs a platoon partner, but he can hit. He's also under contract for next year as well and might make more sense IF Holiday can come back for the playoffs.
I think we have to make a move. Even if we overpay a bit:

I thought Lind's contract was up after this year.

So it appears Mo is sniffing the tires on Lind.
What would you give up?
What would you give up?

Man, I don't know because as I look at it, it's not just who am I not gonna have in the future, but who am I now going to have to face for the next 5 years. Just hate trades within the decision.

I think a deal with Gonzalez as the head piece is coming. Softer throwing lefty yady yady yady....
Im not sure I like it though. Make him work into something more long term. He is never going to be a "guy" on this staff looking forward though.

Mo just got fleeced.
Maybe he can trade Reyes for Skip Schumacher now.

Gave up a good prospect, but Moss does have some much needed power.

I'm not real concerned giving up Kaminsky, but I just wish we would go get a great player just once. You know we won't sign one.
Moss is just ok. He's having a down year and he's mired in a slump at the moment.
Blah

No, but I felt like he was a piece that could go in a package deal for someone like CarGo.
I get the sense that teams are asking Mo for the world, and he wont bite. GMs know he's in a tough spot right now, theres not alot that he can play close to the vest at this point. He needs hitters, and teams want his prospects.
Maybe this will work, maybe it wont. At this point I'm going to sit back and hope they can hold the division lead, and get some magic in October.
