What is your biggest question about our football team this season?

What is your biggest question- A player, a position group, a coach, etc?
My biggest question is: Who is going to break out at WR?
We need to have that one receiver that will separate himself from our other WR's and become the clear leader.
If I had to guess on who it would be, I would say Guidry. If we could get one receiver to be a deep threat, it would open our offense so much more, and our offense would be virtually unstoppable due to we also have a strong offensive line two very good running backs. We know Fitz has the arm strength, but will he have at least one receiver that will step up?

Can our quarterbacks execute Moorhead’s reads, as in reading the safety. From top to bottom SEC defenses will be faster than the Big 10. Can our guys pick it up quickly enough fully implement his attack successfully in year one? Moorhead is smart enough if they aren’t getting it he will simplify it and run what we can execute, but I think getting it will be the difference in 8-9 wins vs.seriously challenging for the West.

My biggest question mark is WRs. I think Mississippi State can win 11 games without that position being spectacular which is why I do have Mississippi State at 11-1. But in order for State to win the big one, that needs to be an asset. And while I will know in October whether they are or not, I currently do not know.

I'll second this, if Guidry is even half as good as billed we will run the table. I'm ready to grind some rantards.

Coach. If Moorhead is what we think he is, we’ll win 10+. But I’m still the type that is skeptical until it’s proven.

He comes from the James Franklin Coaching Tree. This is an intelligent group of coaches that know how to win at places that are considered "unwinnable" like Vanderbilt. Bob Shoop is also part of this. And outside of working for one of the dumbest coaches in CFB, Shoop has a great track record. I've bought into him more. Moorhead has HC Experience at a school in Fordham that did not have much success in the FCS level and was winning the conference and defeating FBS Programs Temple and Army while making the playoffs. We got the best hire in the SEC this off-season.

Definitely not saying you’re wrong or that I’m not on board, I just want to see it. I think he’s as advertised, FWIW

I agree 100%. The biggest question I have is can he transition from FBS head coach/D-1 OC to SEC HC immediately. That's asking quite a bit, but the reality is we are in a position to make a serious challenge for the West every 3-4 years and we are at that point in the cycle. The question is can Moorhead handle the pressure and capitalize on that immediately?
One thing I like is that from the footage I've seen is it looks like he called plays from the sideline as OC, so he won't have to make the transition from the booth to the sideline. It may not seem like a big deal but I think it is.

Lincoln Riley had no HC Experience last season and won the Big 12 and made the Rose Bowl. He certainly can.
He did call plays from the sidelines. I watched a lot of Penn State games and can confirm. Btw he didn't miss a beat in his last game at Penn State against Maryland scoring over 60. It's kind of unreal to see a coach focused on his job first and then worries about other opportunities.....

That will by far be the most refreshing thing about this season. I’ve broken a many of a thing watching Don sleep walk through our November stretch of games during his tenure.

I agree. That 2014 November was atrocious. We had the better team than that 2014 Alabama team. Idc about the stars, that was one of Sabans weakest teams and our offensive game plan looked so weak! And after Mullen lost the biggest game of his career he follows that up with losing to Ole Miss and Georgia Tech. So our 3 biggest games of the year are losses(I was at two of these games, I luckily wasn't in Oxford).
I just can't celebrate being #1 for a few weeks or beating a meh Auburn team. That was one of my biggest beefs under Mullen was that our Fanbase (and Stricklin) celebrating being #1 for a few weeks. That's not worth celebrating. SEC Division Titles, SEC Championships, NY6 Bowl Wins. Those are the memories. Instead all I have to look back on 2014 is an atrocious LSU ending that Mullen almost blew and a run of State beating teams they normally beat at home(and Kentucky). Um yay?
Had we defeated Alabama and still lost to Ole Miss I would've still looked back on the season as successful. But since we lost the 3 biggest games. I just can't. People can talk about Mullens Egg Bowl blunders in recent years, but his 2014 November blunder is his biggest one ever
