I'm no tech guy, but doesn't it seem like the video speeds up right before he steps down?

The late hit foul was penalized...end of story.

The second "stomping" incident didn't look intentional to me.

The first one did. I don't think the NCAA or the SEC should do anything. Mullins should sit him out for the first half of the A&M game.

The gif of the stomp is stupid. It looks like it goes from super slo-mo to actual speed right before the leg is coming down which makes it look like he is brutally stomping him. Yeah, he might have done it on purpose, but the gif going from slo-mo to actual speed is extremely deceiving.

If you go to the cable cam feed on watch espn app and go to 2:19:19 mark and watch it at game speed it is completely innocent. The announcers themselves commented towards end of game that they had an LSU grad in feed truck who had been grumbling all night. That is a very very doctored view of it. If you look at all other subjects they all speed-up at the exact same time DD supposedly "thrusts" himself in mid-air into the guys gut. And then all subjects slow down as contact is made. It's a classic case of tail wagging the dog. It's butthurt bullshite. Could he have avoided stepping on dude? Maybe. Is it as egregious as everyone is making it to be? Hell no.

Copy of .gif

The order of speed is super slo-mo, slow-mo, super slo-mo. That took place in front of 4 LSU defenders who didn't think anything of it either. Hence no reprisal. If the SEC tries to do anything to DD and Stricklin has any balls an entry-level audio tech can debunk this bullshite in about a minute by looking at editing.

It feels good to be hated tho.

He stepped on him, period.

The fact that LSU fans are making it out to look like he "stomped" him with some kind of malicious intent to kill the dude is fricking pathetic.

I agree though, their tears are fricking delicious.

He did step on him. He did not stomp.

The film is at different speeds.

IF the SEC does get a complaint and review the film, not the gif, they will be able to slow it down to get frame by frame. It will show Day in the air before LSU rolls over. They will be able to see how far he rolls. No way to avoid him. Like I said... At least it was not both feet and he bent his the landing leg to pull some of the weight off.

I think it's pretty obvious that he intentionally stomped on #57's midsection (using old school WCW terms). However, he won't be suspended.

He is a dirty player and everyone knows this. Everyone needs to DWI because it's not like he is going to sit a single snap in a meaningful game.

I hope you're right, I don't want an OL shakeup against aTm.

ETA: I give zero fricks about him being "dirty". Auburn, LSU, etc. etc. get away with having a player like this all the time so why can't we?

Exactly. Everyone should DWI. Those that don't want to DWI are going to have to DWI anyways because he isn't being suspended.

Literally, DWI
