We have 3 commits who are top 100 rated prospects out of high school.

James Wood, OF: the #5 ranked high school player in the country from IMG academy. He’s 6’6” 220 and has tremendous power.

Maddox Bruns, LHP: #51 ranked player in the country. Stands 6’2 and has a 94 MPH fastball accompanied by a curve, slider, and change up.

Pico Kohn, LHP: #97 ranked player in the country. Stands 6’5 and is a 3 pitch guy who touches 90 with his fastball. With that frame and the coaching and developmental training he would have in college the velo will definitely go up.

All of these guys will hear their name called at the draft. then you throw in borderline guys like Luke Hancock who is projected later rounds and Mccants at short stop who could go either way. If the draft is even relatively good to us, we could really have something next year with the already strong nucleus we have coming back.

Robbie Faulk said he thinks Luke will be back. Take that for what it’s worth bc they also said Bednar wouldn’t pitch game 3.

Seems like we could take advantage of the NIL to get them to come to MSU.

They still get paid
Get an education
Improve draft stock
