Trent Simpson and baseball.

I have been looking at some vids of him playing, and dude is a beast. He definitely is someone who could replace Wes at 1st. He was a 2nd team Perfect Game All Region 1st basemen. The thing is, I can't find anything about him being a baseball signee. I think I remember reading that he would play both. I know he is gray shirting for football. I think he could help us a lot more in baseball than football.

He will be football first, but will try to play both at State. Kid can mash. Another future power hitter we have is Joey Swinarski out of Florida.

I honestly do not see him making any impact in football. Especially with him being on the DL, that is seeemingly the only position we can recruit big name players at State
Honestly, needs to focus his attention on the diamond. I just got done watching a vid of him drop 3 bombs in an Alabama playoff game.
