That's just rumor at this point.
After White saying that "he's not going to beg anyone to stay", I think it would be pretty shitty to put terms on his release.

I hope that's the case and perhaps Dickerson is the mystery croot. But either way you've got to think the staff is confident in this guy.

Howland said he wanted to add at least one more player this year and maybe two.
Gonna be interesting to see who gets the door if we do get 1 or 2 more players.

Yeah there was a thread on the recruiting board a couple weeks ago and me and jumbo told an Alabama guy that, because we were his only visits left.

We're going after Caleb Swanigan. Obviously, it's going to take a ton of work, but that's the name right now.

So we couldn't seal the deal on Kasongo but we are going to swing Swanigan? I'm not going to hold my breath on that one.

Swanigan comes in and is a day 1 starter, no questions asked.
Kasongo was worried that Daniels was going to start in front of him at the 4 and wasn't going to get the playing time he wanted. He was promised that at Tennessee, so he went there.
I'm not saying we're going to get him but to act like Howland couldn't "close" on Kasongo is reaching at best.

I don't claim to know the details of Kasongo's recruitment or what he was told by us or TN in terms of playing time. All I know is that he was our #1 inside target at the time and we thought we were getting him up until the day he signed with TN but we didn't.

I fully believe that Kasongo's handler is who messed that up for us.

Agreed. I think there are at least two other names besides Swanigan, but you know how Paul is. He keeps those names under wraps.
