That would be a tough regional. I've watched ULL play a series this year and they looked really good. More like a #2 seed than a #3 seed.

Miami has been pretty terrible though...

The part that I don't like is being matched up across from UNC, who is the unquestioned #1 at this point IMO...

Give me the Oxford regional(national seed) across from Georgia Tech FTW

Ya'll seem to forget that we haven't won not a one SEC series...maybe we should focus on that before worrying about a tournament we might not even make, much less host.

Name the price you are willing to bet on this. We're easily in the tournament right now -- and on the hosting bubble RIGHT NOW. 16-14 in the SEC with our schedule -- and we're watching baseball in Starkville first weekend in June.

You seem to forget the 3 teams we've played are now a combined 21-7 in the SEC -- with almost half those losses to us -- 2 of the 3 being on the road.

Did you want to fire Cohenz when we opened 5-10 in SEC play last year?

I just don't want ya'll getting too far ahead of realistic expectations. Because if ya'll grow the wool, it makes me want to grow the wool. I just don't want to get my hopes up.

But I will be rooting with a full beard this weekend, I'm expecting great things at home.

I'm not "growing the wool" -- just looking at it for what it actually is.

We've played 3 SEC series against what is likely 3 of the 4 best teams in the league right now, 2 on the road, and we haven't had our expected ace(Woodruff) in any or our current ace(Lindgren) in one. Yet, we've still had a chance to win 8 of those 9 games. Meanwhile, we're sitting at RPI #11 -- which is expected to be RPI #9 if we simply make 15-15 and win 2 of the remaining 3 nonconference...

Today is the big questionmark of the series for me with Pollo against this TeamUSA guy that has struggled but shut out OM last week... If we can win today, I'm going to like our chances to sweep, and really like our chances to get 2 of 3...
