State Baseball Picks up Grad Transfer RJ Yeager (SS) from Mercer
Looks like he went undrafted and hit the portal.

Ryan impressed all who watched him the last four seasons at Mercer. A batting average of .291 over all four collegiate seasons. His senior year especially strong, with a .308 average with 13 homers and 50 RBI in 57 games, and on the field, just 7 errors in 224 chances as the Bears shortstop.

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB) – Mosley alum and Mercer baseball player RJ Yeager was nominated by the NCAA as a finalist for the Brooks Wallace Award. The award is given to the top shortstop in the country, and the Junior was selected as one of six players to be a finalist for the prestigious award. Since arriving at Mercer, he has started every game at shortstop in the 2021 season and helped lead the bears to a 35-22 record.

Rj Yeager @rj_yeag1 · 1h I want to thank Mercer for a great 4 years. With that being said, I’m pumped to continue my college career at @HailStateBB ! Run it back. #HailState ????

Kendall Rogers @KendallRogers Here’s an interesting addition to the transfer portal — @MercerBaseball standout RJ Yeager. Yeager hit .308 with 13 homers and 50 RBIs this past season for #Mercer. He’s going to help someone out in a big way.
