Apparently due to reoccuring injuries. Mullen specifically addressed a hammy issue and said that it was "something we would have to see about in the future".

I thought he said he was over the hamstring issue and it was more about his back injury..

Mullen only mentioned the hammy after practice yesterday.

IMO it's a pretty significant chance he's done for good if he can't get healthy for this year.

Whatever it may be, it really sucks. Kid was a 4 star safety coming out of high school, IIRC.

I know Staley was way up on the coaches boards, but everything I have heard about Fitzgerald has been great. Didn't realize how big he was either.

Do you guys think Wells will be drafted?

Yes, probably alot higher than we expect from his actual production for us...

He has a pretty rare skill set at his size and has been on the NFL radar as a guy to man up against the new breed of tight end...

Muffin and Dak tear it up...2 Heisman's in a row. Muffin leaves to go coach Michigan. Collins becomes Head Coach / Juice Master.

See Jamie Collins from USM. Wells hasn't had the production of Collins but comparable in size and skill set IMO. I expect Wells to light up the combine, like Collins.

Exactly.

I don't think we ever really see eye-popping defensive stats in the front 7 under Collins with the amount of reps that we spread out to different guys.

Real Talk: if Mullen were to leave for whatever reason would y'all rather have Collins take over as HC or bring in the Hud? On the one hand, Hud has the HC experience, but on the other you got the Juice Mane.

Well if Muffin is leaving due to good performance I am assuming that the defense did really well. So I would just as soon have Collins.
