Yep look at the Finebaum interviews with our AD and Coach. Both looked awful!!!

And for those that say those were "hard questions". They put themselves in that position with unacceptable results and with Joe and his agent floating his name out to schools like Rutgers.

And I agree 100%. This move wouldn't happen till November. But it's looking very realistic week by week.

This quote from JM is all we need to know....He is over his head.

quote:

"Coaching in the SEC for about a year-and-a-half now in a lot of ways has been a humbling experience," Moorhead said. "I don't think you get to this point where I am without a certain level of success, and of confidence, but this game and the SEC, it has a way of keeping you honest."

Just say it Joe,

Moorhead to Rutgers is a done deal (handshake). He has agreed to stay quiet about it and finish out the season and continue to recruit as if nothing is wrong. After the last game of regular season it will be announced he has accepted the Rutgers job and in the event they somehow manage a bowl game Shoop will be interim.

This will be a mutual parting. I imagine the coaching search has secretly begun.

Did not sound to me he was going to Rutgers.
Why would he go to Rutgers?

Why are so many of our own fans dissatisfied with Coach Moorhead? He is a tremendous coach and if some of our boneheaded fans will have some patience we will bear the fruit of his good coaching.

We have some idiots in our fan base.

No clouded judgment here. But please take off the binders for a moment.

I do agree that Coach JoMo needs to improve in several areas for the football program to be better. But I think he is more than capable of doing so. In fact if our microwave fans will stay behind the program and be supportive instead of critical we are poised to do some good things in the next several years.

You do realize that CDM, whom I thought did a great job here, had to win the Egg Bowl in 2011, 2013 and 2016 just to make a bowl game. All three of those teams had some struggles along with some bright spots.

Moorhead seems to be recruiting well and he has endured a very difficult season in which some of our fans jumped off the cliff. Yes this season was disappointing, I want to win too but I would never advocate firing our coach after two seasons especially (if we win our bowl game)if we were above .500 both years. That absolutely makes no sense.

But no some of our fans want him gone and then what? If that were to happen, then I could see us sliding back to the end of Sherrill’s tenure (2002-2003)-early Croom years (2004-2005).

Oh my piss on your level headed thoughts. This is America where outrage and over the top stupid decisions are celebrated. Context and personnel doesn't matter. The best coaches win 10 games with huge roster gaps and suck at recruiting.

Yates you are alright. Who am I to write something that makes sense. Forget all that.

This is the SEC melt after all.

And we could slide back to that direction if we keep him for another year.

The fact remains it wasn't our offense that won this game over a very bad 4 win ole miss team, it was our defense.

I think if we had scored at will against one of the worst Defenses then there could be an argument for this.

But it took a blocked extras point off of their self inflicted penalty for us to win.

Why would there be a complete 180 off of just one play vs a bad team? My guess is there isn't and that's why we still have heard nothing.
