It was fun going back and forth with State fans, but I haven't talked shite this whole week (realizing this now). You all are a bunch of fine folks and it sucks that none of us are up this week. Just wanted to tell you guys I am looking forward to tomorrow and hope to see you guys in the game thread

The only reason I watched this game was to see who was going to mess up more. I thought it was going to be us, particularly after a penalty on the first play of the game.

At least basketball season starts soon. Cheers MOT

It was a good visit for me as well. Always enjoy the trip.

Arkansas deserves better not gonna lie.

I'd stop following this team if I were y'all if y'all haven't already.

We've had those teams too

Stop following? So who do you follow in the meantime? And when do you pick back up? To be a fair-weather fan, MSU was not a smart pick for you.

He probably means stop watching on TV. I've been a State fan since the early to mid 80's, and I've seen some bad football played at times (1988 really comes to mind from when I was a kid). I will always pull for State, but I can't lie, the end of some seasons over the years (such as the tail end of the 2003 season) have been tough to watch live or on TV.

I remember us getting torched in 2003 against a bad Bama team in Starkville 38-0 on TV really late in the season. I know this sounds bad, but when the local channel in Kentucky turned to another much more competitive game, I was relieved to not have to watch it anymore.
