1B- Wes Rea
2B- Pirtle/Hann
SS- Humphries/Pirtle
3B- Detz/Humphries
LF-Hendu
CF-CT
RF-Armstrong/Robson
C-Garner/Randolph/Collins. No idea who wins that
DH- ?
P-Woodruff
P-Fitts
P-Hudson
Obviously, I assume Renfroe, Frazier, and E. Mitchell all leave.
Really hope Rea takes a leap next year and becomes a 12-18 HR guy. We will definitely need someone else to step up to supplement power.
Really just a guess as to what we do at SS. Same with catcher. I've heard only great things about Humphries, but it is hard as hell in the SEC to come in as a true fresh and be a everyday player much less SS.
I really expect Robson to turn the corner next year.
I expect Britton and Fullerton will most likely transfer. I've also read a few times that Flair may be looking around. A few other players here and there may also leave.
I really hope Norris can come back and provide something for us. He looked so promising early in his career.
I'm already excited for next year.
Thoughts opinions?

I think Lindgren will be a weekend starter.

He slipped my mind, but I agree.
We'll be deep again no matter who we start. Obviously, losing Graveman and Girodo hurt, but we always have a few pitchers that come out of nowhere each year.
Cox and Gentry may battle for a starting spot as well. I also expect big things out of Shelley.

Pitching is going to be ridiculous if they can keep everyone healthy for once.
I guess Lindgren fell out of favor with the coaches...but he still put up some nice numbers. If Hudson is as good as advertised, I agree that he could be the Sunday starter right out of the gate. I think he is hitting upwards of 94 already...which is just sick.
So just based on potential I would probably go Lindgren, Woody, Hudson. If that pans out, that is a ridiculous weekend rotation. Those guys all have 1st round talent.
I am concerned about SS and the corner outfielders right now though. I am assuming Humphries goes 3rd and Detz is DH. Robson could be a good one eventually...will have to see.

1B- Rea
2B- Pirtle
SS- Britton
3B- Humphries/Detz
LF- Armstrong/Robson
CF- CT
RF- Hendu
C- Garner/Randolph
DH.- Detz
Fri.- Woody
Sat.- Lindgren
Sun.- Hudson/Fitts
I have also heard great things about Humphries, but I just don't know if he'll adjust soon enough to become day 1 SS. I think Britton/Pirtle can interchange if need be. I just know Cohen is going to want Britton's left-handed bat in the lineup.
As for the switch in the outfield, I don't think Robson has the arm to play RF. iIRC, I believe, when CT sat due to hammy, Hendu slid over and played RF when Renfroe was playing CF.
I expect Rea, Hendu, Pirtle, CT to take steps up offensively next year.
I've heard great things about Garner's bat, and that's who I want playing C.
I also expect Norris to help us next year whether it be 3B or P.

I could see 2 of the 3 "incumbent" outfielders being replaced by Vickerson and/or one of the freshmen if they don't get their shite together.
Collins is going to be hell to keep out of the lineup somewhere...Humphries will play... and Rooker will threaten for the right field spot as well IMO...

Adam Frazier did it and Humphries is projected with far more upside than Frazier was coming out of HS.

Why didn't he pitch any the last 5 weeks of our season?

Nursed arm soreness -- think it was potentially tendonitis(this baseball staff is proving to be more secretive than Mullen with injuries)...

No, he didn't. He drew 2 starts at SS his Freshman year. Ogden was the starting shortstop when Frazier was a freshman.
