To be clear as all of y'all know I have been as high on the 2020 team and Howland as anyone has. I do not think anyone can question the talent they had and the results they had with another 20 win season and a top 4 SEC Finish which is our highest in 12 years.

The fact that we did not get to see the end result is a killer because this will be our best contender in quite a while.

Now we have a major problem.

We now only have 7 Scholarship players with our 2 incoming freshmen. And obviously 4 walkons from last year if they choose to stay.

This is a mighty big task for Howland, if Mollinar or Stewart leaves that makes it even worse.

I would be surprised to see Howland after 2021 after these developments. I do not see a change this year because in this climate, it will be hard to get a coach. But with that being said.... Wow

Honestly, I don’t see us even playing basketball in 2021.

Perry/Woodard are not ready for the NBA. G League or Europe.
Weatherspoon will end up playing in his backyard. SMH on that one.
Not sure about the others.

So as it stands, he will have two years to build the roster back up. Stewart/Molinar are stars in the making but we will need some big bodies to compliment them.

We will see what happens.

Guess I am out of the local news loop. So bunch of transfers, any known reasons?

If you think we are going to fire or not renew Howland contract you’re dreaming. He’s the best we’re going to get.
