I'm talking about preseason this year. We always get over excited with a little success. I wait for the day when we(as a people) act like we've been there before. And hopefully we will have been..there.

I'm looking forward to this season for the state of MS. I have no problem when MSState does well...I have a problem with some of the fans cutting down OM instead of enjoying their own success, but that makes up a very small portion. I would love nothing more than an Egg Bowl to decide the West. Hard to imagine a year with better chances for it to happen.

Well...neither of us will win the West, but it should be a fun season.

I wouldn't rule it out. I think Dak and Bo are the two best QB's in the SEC, definitely the West.
Both teams have the skill players on offense and both defenses are in the top half of the SEC. I think it comes down to health. Obviously, Bama and LSU is deeper, but I think if either team can stay healthy and avoid a bad game to start the season, frick, why not?

Because neither of us have the depth that teams like Auburn, LSU and Alabama has.
Alabama is plugging in some crappy QB and will still win 9 or 10 games. If either of us lost our qb's we would be lucky to go bowling.
We are a couple of injuries on the o-line away from being awful on offense. You guys are even worse off than us there.
We will both have nice defenses, but I don't see it being enough to win the West.

You're right about depth just not being there. Look how fast Auburn recovered after running Chiz off compared to how slow Arky is reloading..

If the defense stays healthy, we should be in every game we play.

2001. I blame 9/11 for our downfall.

Should Dak Prescott be getting more or less Heisman love? Does MSU have the SEC’s most favorable schedule?
When has there been this kind of anticipation for a season in Starkville?
