Hunter is at .251 with 17 doubles, a triple, and 8 HR's.

He is batting .280 since this thread was started.

And has hit like 6-7 homeruns, which is what Coonass said would never happen.

According to twitter he has been making some really nice defensive plays too.

Frazier is on a tear. Highest batting average of all players --- majors and minors --- since June 5.

Stratton's ERA is about 1.8 through his first 6 games in AAA.

Have to say...did not see the Frazier success coming. Pretty cool.

He's got a shot to play in the MLB but he's still looking uphill. He has hardly any power and isn't a burner either. He just keeps hitting though, so who knows.

There is a place for him at 2B in a lot of locker rooms.

Stratton's numbers in AA weren't eye popping, but he has been lights out since getting called up to AAA. It's quite bizarre to me

I think so too, but I'm afraid he won't get a chance due to his lack of power.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Girodo get the call next.

I'm not sure if the Pirates feel that way, given that they are progressing him at a faster pace than Jacoby Jones. He doesn't have great power numbers, but far more than Frazier.

Lol at the Pirates for picking him in the 3rd round. Anyone paying attention could tell he would never make it.

Yeah I'm with you there. Not that I agree with it, and I'm not saying you do either, because there should be something said for a guy who gets hits at pretty much every level he's ever been on. Would you rather a guy that hits .350 and 3 homeruns a year or one that hits 10 homeruns and hits .280?

Way too much emphasis on the power numbers these days.

I agree with you, but who the frick would have predicted the run he is on from his last year at State to present.

I mean the guy was an absolute fricking train wreck before that.

I agree with you. I'm just looking at it the way most GMs do. If you aren't dropping at least 12 bombs a year you better be a sub- 6.5 if you want to get a shot.

Frazier can't do either but they won't be able to ignore him if he keeps this up.

Maybe he could at least make it as a journeyman utility player.

From what I understand, once you get the call up, you get free health care for life.

I said that when? I never said he wouldnt hit 10 HR's this year. He should fricking quit if he doesnt

I love the excitement of the 13th overall pick getting his average to .250 over 300 AB's into the season

I still don't understand why you are rooting for Renfroe to fail.
