So I am talking to this client my company has and I am fairly new there, I have been working here since August '12, but in this conversation we of course are discussing business but at the end my client asked me if I was from the Jackson, MS area because I seem to know a lot about it. I told him no I wasn't but I had gone to Ole Miss and I had a lot of friends from that area. Well he doesn't say too much but does comment on that it was nice to be at Ole Miss and I must of had fun, I said that I had and we left it at that.

When our talk was over he mentioned that I should email him about the things we discussed so we could move forward. I complied and sent him an email. In this email I put all the things we discussed but at the end I put a P.S. In case you are a Rebel Hotty Toddy! this is what he responded to me with:

quote:

Would rather have a sister in a whorehouse than at TSUN—Lol……………

Man it was not even a Friday, it was just a Tuesday and this man was wanting to ruin my day. Of course it was all in jest, somewhat true I'm sure, but still I found it funny myself and responded with my own quip.

Anyway I thought y'all might enjoy this ...

TL;DR: One of my clients found out I was a dirty TSUNER and responded to my email that had a Hotty Totty in it because I mistook him for a fellow Rebear with the quote above in bold.

to that guy to send that in a business interaction over email. I can see how that would be funny with a friend in person, but that sounds messed up.

It's freakin okay to joke in email, if he truly meant it then I have a tiny problem with it because that then would be unprofessional.

At first I thought that as well but given the guy it's par for the course ... I don't know, I just don't think he thought by any means it might be taken less than a joke. It's good thing that I deal with you assholes plus my Uncle on a regular basis or I might have been a little butthurt over this.

Also I sent him back this and said if she was anything like these please let me know where that whorehouse was ... so I could avoid it.

Yeah by the way, we became really close during that convo. It did last a little over an hour and about half of it was talking about tLandmass and shite we do there.

I guess it depends on the guy and how well you know him. It did make it sound like he was "big leagueing" you big time.

I have a hard time taking anyone seriously if they don't use TSUN sarcastically

Well this is understandable because as I said it was my first impression but TBH when I receive all the STATE hate on TSUN this is me because I hear it all time from my Uncle, he's a STATE grad that lives in Oxford so you know he's a bitter man ...
