I'm proud of this staff and these players for turning it around last night.

57 rushes to 17 passes last night. That is how this team wins games.

We got some luck last night, but it was good to be lucky.

We played very good. This is the run/pass ratio we need to have every game this year.

We've got an off week before heading to LSU.

Use this same game plan against LSU and we may win.

Last night was a good look ahead to what Moorhead brings to the table. First, after two tough losses, the team didn’t come out flat and were ready to go. Second, the trash talking bs was gone. All business and or guys took care of it. 3rd, imagine the pressure he will put on defenses when we develop a competent passing game. You go 5 wide but don’t motion the back into the backfield every play. You leave him out there with 5 wide and got a mismatch with a linebacker on a back like Hill. If we could pass, we’d have put up 40 on them.

The team is getting better each week.

Also Kentucky and Florida are legit. Those losses aren’t as bad as originally thought. Very tough schedule for us this year.

With a bye week to continue getting better I like our chances against LSU. If we can get that win we have a great shot at winning out minus the Bama game.
