I've been pretty critical of Coach Joe and his implementation of his offense (so far) at State.
That being said, it really looks like he and the staff are busting their butts on the recruiting trail and in scouring the transfer portal to help us address positions of need ASAP.
Love the effort!
I really hope that he learned a lot last year as his first in the SEC. At the very least it looks like he is working at improving what he can. Maybe it's been long enough since the Iowa game, but I'm beginning to get excited again.
I'm sure this is an incomplete list but we've added:
1) transfer qb from penn st
2) transfer wr from k-st
3) transfer dl from louisville

Don’t forget the punter from South Alabama. Could be a difference maker in close games.

I agree 100%. I've been as vocal as anyone on this board. But he's done everything possible in the off-season to get players for this season.
Hopefully the WR and QB translates to points against Kentucky, LSU, and Alabama

This 2020 recruiting class is seeming like a good one as well. I know it is early but to go and snatch a big time 4 star running back from Atlanta is a big deal.
