Baseball Summer League Stats - As of July 30, 2018

1. Keegan James numbers look good, but I'd like for him to get his walks down. If Stewart goes JUCO, I think James will be one of two options to fill the other spot in the weekend rotation (Small and Ginn are the other 2).

2. Peyton Plumlee's numbers are outstanding so far. He would be the other weekend starter option if Stewart goes JUCO.

3. Tanner Allen is hitting very good right now with a .350 average. The only question about him for next year is where he will play in the field.

4. Childers' hitting stats look good. I wonder how he's doing on defense?

5. Foscue is very talented. He needs to be given the first shot at shortstop for next year.

6. Gilbert and Skelton are terrible. If we don't have two better catchers than them next year, we're in trouble.

7. Westburg seems to be tearing it up at the plate. I really like him.

Our lineup should be loaded next season and our pitching should be really good too.

Anyone else think it’s badass of Jake to pull a Boobie Miles, “This is God given, all I gotta do is show up” move and not play summer ball.
