But seriously... List is shite. BMack not being on the first team is the biggest upset since Apocalypse Now lost best picture.

Maybe if the rest of your defense wasn't so shitty and more psycho he would have received some recognition?

Maybe you can go sit on an upside down bar stool?

Why aren't you posting the stats
Posted on 12/8/14 at 3:57 pm to Tornado Alley
Chris Jones had better stats than RN and he didn't even start.

Man, I'm salty as frick after this morning's evidence exam.
Professor went in dry.
It's cool. I never wanted to be a lawyer.

This place would fall under the "Nobody gives a frick about Robert Kimdiche board."
Get you an EliteDawgs account and ball out.

Actually, I will correct myself. The two are very comparable in stats. Jones finished with 26 tackles and 3 sacks, Robert finished with 33 tackles and 2 sacks. Know that Jones blocked several passes, at least one resulting in a crucial INT, and I'm sure did RN did as well.
The main difference is that Jones was on the field about 1/3 of the snaps for us. I honestly would have liked to see him a lot more. Both are good but it's crazy how much more you hear about one than the other.

Based absolutely off your opinion and nothing else. That's cool, I would do the same in favor of Jones.
For State fans. It is crazy that he had superior stats to any of our other DT's. He really didn't play that much, especially in OOC games it seemed like. PJ and Eulls have always been more of run defense guys, interesting to see how we adjust next year. If CJ is going to move to DE he needs to trim some pounds. Our defensive line being so big forces us to send LBs/Corners/Safeties on the blitz too often IMO.
Ryan Brown is the most NFL ready guy on our team right now. Call me crazy but you heard it here first. He is going to be a strong impact player on the DL next year.

It's not my opinion, it's the opinion of the sportswriters who get paid to cover the game.

Almost exactly the same. Which is why I was trying to get TA to post the stats.
Ridiculous that one is 1st team and the other is nothing.

God knows they don't show bias.

Which largely know shite about the game of football.
They are journalists, not experts.

You cant always judge a DT by their stats.. Just look at the Egg Bowl... Robert was the most dominating defensive player on the field all MFin night but his stats dont jump off the page like Tony Conner's in that game.

Don't try and explain that to them.
The only reason Nkemdiche was first team is because of the hype and you know it.

The same can be applied to Jones. He won the Auburn game for us, has been game changing multiple times this season.
I do think he needs to stick to DT though. Guy is listed at 6'6" and is every bit of it. By far the biggest human I have ever stood next to.
