All of our receivers are going to double as o-lineman.

yea...im calling BS on that offer list, based solely on the fact that FAU is "warmer".

unless he is a grade risk of course.

I asked about Quay. It wasn't thread worthy but affects our recruiting eventually if his spot is open.

that looks believable. Not saying the kid isn't a player...but that first offer list was INSANE.

article from Arky's board said his lead recruiter left Arky for FAU and he is a grade risk...that's why FAU is warmer

Well we don't have a freshman committed and they can switch position pretty easily.

I think there is some attrition headed for this group honestly.

headed into 2014,

M. Johnson SR
B. Hill SR
R. Warren JR
D. Hutcherson JR??
G. Walley RS SO <--- Medical?
H. Bradley <--- Medical?
A. Samuel SO

that makes the numbers SLIM after next year.

agreed. it seems like we have bunch of TEs...but not really.

We lose Johnson and Hill after this year. Rufus Warren is moving to OT. That leaves Samuel and Hutcherson and Walley, who I don't think ever gets any PT.

So as long as we have the spots we can afford to take him and RS him (or play him if he's good)

Rufus Warren is about 6'6 280. He's a very large man. He could easily move to OT with another fifteen or twenty pounds.

Confirmed that Rufus is indeed moving to OT...

Seems like 3 or at most 4 scholarship TEs should be all we need on roster. Having 7 or 8 scholarships tied up at the spot seems really excessive to me.

Screen blocking is going to be insane.

based on the first sentence then

headed into 2014,

M. Johnson SR
B. Hill SR
D. Hutcherson JR??
G. Walley RS SO <--- Medical?
H. Bradley <--- walkon
A. Samuel SO

that makes the numbers SLIM after next year.

i fully expect Walley to medical imo. So that leaves us with 4 on scholly (Bradley is a walkon).

Then only 2 for 2015

Yeah -- problem is that you are missing Christian Holmes who spent time at TE last year who we don't know what his role will be going forward yet. And also BJ Hampton who was moved to the spot during bowl practices.

So, actually, beyond next season you are looking at at least:
Hutcherson
Walley
Samuel
Hampton
C/O 2015 signee

That is plenty of players at the position IMO.
