Women cheat just as much as men do and this trend will only increase in the future. Most men don't have a freaking clue.

Very good, if he doesn't commit to a lame Pac-12 program before he visits us.

If we take him where does that leave us with the other DT's we're looking at? Are stallworth/lawrence lost causes?

It seems like we have 3 or 4 possibilities with DL guys that remain uncommitted, and guys that could flip to us. There's one guy I'd probably close the door on at this point. But we're in very good shape it seems for signing day with DL guys.

He's headed to ND this weekend.

Paul just talked to him Sunday and he said that it concerns him that Tennessee has 8 defensive linemen. He also said that he's not making a decision until signing day.

He went to Clemson this weekend and Paul talked to him either on his way home or after he got home and Corey said that if he were to decommit from Tennessee, Mississippi State would be his number #1 choice. He went on to say even though he is committed to Tennessee he has the best relationships with the State coaching staff and really feels like home when he's in Starkville.

How he has never been to Starkville for an entire weekend I don't know but that's what he says he's looking forward to the most. He just wants to see what is going on in town outside of football.

I would say out of the Defensive linemen there are guys to watch:

1) Corey Thomas - Going to flip IMO
2) Grant Harris - Almost pulled the trigger this weekend. Likely ends up at State
3) Marcus Griffin - Favorites were said to be Washington and Cal, He tweeted last night that UW is no longer recruiting him and I really haven't seen anything about Cal. He tweeted last night that he's going to Notre Dame this weekend and that Collins (and Turner?) had an in home visit with him yesterday and he loves Collins. (Shocker)
4) Daveron Lawrence - Paul says he sees little to no interest.
5) Taylor Stallworth - See what happens on visit
6) Anthony Brown - Decommitted from FIU last night, most likely headed to Arkansas but since he didn't commit on his visit I'd say we have a fair chance if he follows through and comes on his visit to State.

And for the gravy on top - And lastly over the weekend, I talked with 2015 prospect and 247Sports four-star prospect Malik Dear of Murrah (Miss.) High School. He has offers from MSU, Alabama, Ole Miss, Texas and Southern Cal among others, and said Vanderbilt is also showing interest. He said that MSU is showing him the most love and said he really sees himself playing at MSU. He said it wasn't just because of football but due to having a good relationship with everyone in the program. (Definitely too early for my pace of predictions but I am tempted to Crystal Ball him to MSU pretty soon).

Grant Harris needs to pull the trigger is he wants to be a dawg.

I think that Trey Carter could still be a possibility. 4 star DE from Dallas

I wonder if they have talked to Malik about being on the track team as well.

Big thing to watch for me is going to be whether Stallworth actually shows up or not. If he does, I'll have hope.

He/Cory would be a pretty big DL coup even though they won't win us any crootin championships. Both of those guys are players.

We're still recruiting him, but he committed to OSU shortly after his official visit to us in the fall. He's not coming to State, IMO.

I know Mullen went to see him yesterday.

We must think we've still got a chance to be going through in-homes with him in Texas this close to signing day.

That said, I agree that it's basically a long shot.

What site do you read?

I got a little annoyed with Paul this past weekend. While I don't expect him to go straight Yancy on the recruiting weekends, I also expect him to at least post some news. He barely posted anything Saturday, most of the news came from a recruits fricking dad. Sunday after the officials were over he put up a bunch of stories but they were all guys we pretty much knew everything about already.

He hasn't contacted Daveron Lawrence yet. He put up a story on Jordan Sims Sunday after talking with his dad but didn't really come out and say much. I want some updates during the weekend about what the staff is showing the recruits or something hell. It's not a free site.

Our compliance limits the hell out of the contact of our "site" guys on OV weekends. They handcuff Paul and others to a very large extent and discourage their interaction with recruits until they actually leave campus. That's why you don't get "play-by-play" stuff like Yancy gives for recruiting weekends. Now -- could they figure out loopholes? Probably could and should.

I'm with you in my annoyance of it when comparing our lack of reports to others teams'. FWIW, I got the above info from a former Clarion Ledger employee after they had left for another job -- so it's not like they had any reason to cover for our site guys being lazy reporters or anything.

He told some pretty ridiculous things about our compliance dept in comparison to others just in the hoops they would make the paper jump through and the things they wouldn't allow to happen, sometimes even overstepping their authority IMO. That was when I really got on the fire Bracky/overhaul compliance bandwagon. The source wasn't even a State fan...

I try to completely forget that our compliance department is complete shite and Bracky is the head. Now instead of just being a little annoyed with Paul, I have to get pissed off all over again at the compliance department. Thanks engie.

It's by far our single largest problem holding us back IMO. We have/are addressed(ing) basically everything else I've had issue with...

more from Malik Dear

"I would probably say Mississippi State is showing me the most love," said Dear. "And I really like that, too. Not just because of their football program but I have a good relationship with everyone there. I know I can get a good education there, too.

"I thought they played very good late this year and I can definitely see myself playing there. They like me as a wide receiver that they can use all around the field. They've compared me to the way (former Florida receiver) Percy Harvin was used at Florida and that sounds good to me."
