He's rated 88 as a basketball player. Only 80 or so at football.

Looks like Staley is tearing it up pretty well for Wheeler HS in basketball.
If only he could bring a couple of those teammates with him...

Wow. If we could only create a connection like we have with Montgomery.

He was 87-88 in football too until his coach threw a tantrum and kicked him off the team. The 24/7 guys then dropped his rating

Why'd they kick him off the team?

Not fishing. Saw it mentioned before and never saw the reason behind it.

I think he got into an argument with the head coach about play calling and the coach kicked him off the team.

That coach sounds like a real touchy fella

I guess we will see if it was the coach or Staley soon enough. I think he will be a good one if he sticks around and realizes he is not beating out Dak.

Six-foot-seven senior forward Elijah Staley had more big dunks than I could count in the rout of Garner, and there are only a handful of big men left in the tournament I could imagine containing him.

I think the best thing that could happen to Staley is to get him away from his dad "the coach"

Either he's a real touchy fella, or there's more to the story than we've been told.
I hope the coach is just a giant douche, but I doubt it.

From what I've seen the coach is a douche

Probably should've gone with read...the articles about the situation, while mainly from Elijah and his family's side, make it look like the coach blew the whole thing out of proportion.

From an unbiased observer's perspective, the whole situation is stupid as are all parties involved. At least you guys know Moffan isn't going to take any shite off of the kid if things go sour.
