I think maybe because most feel like not a lot of people are going to beat Beede, we're going to throw someone friday night that we're not 100% confident in just to see how he does. If he throws a gem, great. If he lays a fricking egg, we didn't waste a great performance from Mitchell just to end up getting beat anyway.
Then toss Mitchell and Fitz when we know we have a better shot of winning the games.

I think Brown gives us a better than Fitts.

Obviously Vandy didn't come to play tonight but you have to still be impressed with how we played.
Gotta give it to Brown to.. I thought he pitched well and battled in a few tough spots were Cohen could have easily pulled him (double play ball etc..)
