not this guy. Kalio is last year's beniquez. I never counted on him being 100%, but he said he was. I think there are a few that would have committed already if we hadn't told them to wait. Gonna get that snowball effect going again at camp is my guess. We'll see, but I don't count on Kalio yet.

I thought Dan didn't consider them commits if they were visiting other schools? Will he be taken off the MSU commitment lists?
He said he wasn't taking officials. If he takes an official somewhere, I don't consider him committed at all and neither should anyone at any school. If a 17 year old is being wined and dined around another campus, he isn't committed. If he lives an hour away and visits unofficially for a game, I still think he's committed.

What are you booming? State fans that follow recruiting much already know he thinks this.

When I asked him - in general, not about Redmond or anyone else specific - about players who consider other schools after committing to him, Mullen likened it to marriage. "I don't go out on other dates and stuff like that. That's a commitment," Mullen said. "I view a commitment really comes on national signing day. That's when they become committed to you." So what does Mullen say to a kid who's committed but is looking elsewhere? "Every kid's different. You just ask them, 'If you're really committed, why would you visit somewhere else?'" An excellent question. If you want to keep making visits, then don't commit so early. Read more: djournal.com - So when is a commitment really a commitment
What's wrong with this logic? If you are still wanting to take visits, don't commit yet. Simple stuff.

*His commitment takes a visit to another school.
*He publicly states that he doesn't consider you a commitment if you visit another school.
*He doesn't take them off his commitment list.

Does he have a billboard somewhere that lists who he considers commits? Last I checked the only things I can check are Scout(not run by Mullen), Rivals(not run by Mullen), and 247(also not run by Mullen).

I wasn't aware that you had seen Dan Mullen's personal commitment list? Link?
Just because Paul Jones, Steve Robertson, and Logan Lowery consider a player "committed", does that mean Dan Mullen does?
Most of them still showed Brassell as committed to us in January as well, when we all knew he wasn't...

do you know what a hypocrite is? Why do you think Dan said that to Snoop? Because he wasn't really committed. He wanted to know where we stood and Snoop gave a lousy committment that wasn't 100%. No coach wants that. Guess what, Dan was right. The person that that article is about, Redmond, has already left the program. Dan has this stance for a reason. It isn't because he is a hypocrite. It's to get really committed players. You get more of a definite number, it's easy to keep your numbers straight, and it creates a better relationship with the player, which is why Dan is getting credit these days for keeping it real, while Freeze is doing well, but doesn't have the same rep. Not that that's a bad thing. There's different ways to recruit. Some are good, some are bad. But stop spitting this hypocrite troll crap. It obviously worked but I think you really believe it.

It's hilarious how hard OM fans are trying to troll us over Kailo, when we are basically not worried about it either way. IMO you've already got a better RB committed(Dodson). So what is the point?
If you wanted to troll us, Sandberg would be the better option. That's our major position of need, the only position we don't already have adequate depth going forward, and the one true major questionmark for our class.

I will never stress about a recruit. That's beyond stupid.

Where's Bundy? He was convinced Walker Jones would sign with State no matter what. Well, the unfortunate happened and a LB spot opened up at Alabama. I expect Walker Jones to follow his brothers to Tuscaloosa, barring an unknown LB prospect popping up on the radar.

Do y'all not have two or three higher kids on your board?

Bundy thinks whoever Paul Jones says we lead for is a lock.

I saw Walker Jones as more of a Mike or Will. Most of the other LBs on the board seem to fall in the Sam or Jack role.

If Walker Jones has a legit offer then he will go to Bama. If he only has a grey shirt offer from Bama I like Mississippi State's chances.

@RickRay1: Expensive few hours in St Louis! Local state trooper got me racing from the airport trying to catch a game. Reimbursement? I got a receipt

That's true if we were actually just trolling. Kailo flipping is a plus for OM directly and there is a strong change it could happen therefor we talk about it in a rhetoric tone because it's stupid to predict what these kids are going to do, just fun to speculate
