Damn...we just need to give Brewster a blank checkbook and tell him to start to "help out" some recruits.

I'm down for 1/2 of a Daewoo Lanos for a good defensive lineman. New, not used.

Robert Washington just committed. 2016 RB, looks like he was being recruited by all the big kids and had offers to State and OM already, anyone know anything about him?

Looks like Marcus Dupree. Seriously.
From North Carolina, where Brewster's family still lives I believe... Likely a long-term connection there. That is the only way I can sensibly justify him even looking at us, much less committing...

Us and OM are currently his only offers. Is there a MS connection with him?

I'm not really sure...I assume preexisting ties to Brewster since he lived in NC. I know he's been to a couple of our games in the past and will be at the Arky game this weekend.
He will have offers from everyone in the country if he doesn't completely shut down recruiting in the next four years. Had over 1100 yards and 13 touchdowns as a true freshman and lost a close one in the state title game..

Washington said he has known for awhile that the Bulldogs were his leader and talked of why he committed at such an early age. "I've always liked Mississippi State and it's awesome for me," said Washington. "When I got the offer I wanted to jump and it was big for my career so I decided to go ahead and commit. I've known for awhile that Mississippi State was the right fit for me. I like the campus and family atmosphere and how their players conduct themselves off the field and in the class room. "I did commit early but I did so because I wanted to get it out of the way. Now I can just focus on football and focus on academics."
quote:
"This year when you look at those early BCS polls, you see Mississippi State up there," said Washington. "You can see they are starting to compete with the best in the SEC. That caught my eye and I just want to help them keep it up when I get there."

I will get blasted for saying this, but I don't think T Man Holmes is that fast. Super quick.

Wish he was taller but pretty solid offer sheet.

I'm hearing its because the coaches are trying to pull a 2 for 1 for his more talented teammate. An olb by the name of Tommy Sanders. Kid is legit and just named us a leader with k state and someone else I forgot.

If he's over 6 feet tall and can catch an open pass I'll take him. Neither Robert Johnson or Joe Morrow can catch an open pass and Jameon is 5'9 on a good day. Especially if we're not in it for Rumph anymore.

I don't believe ROJO has had a single drop since the Troy game. He's been arguably our best receiver...

Since Troy
102 yards, 11 catches(9.27 YPC), 2 TD's.
Not bad, but not what I want for a guy who's probably going to be our go-to receiver next year. I personally believe he has the potential to be our best receiver next year, but he needs to step up.

why don't we use Malcolm Johnson more? he is definitely our best WR and he is a TE
